As they advertised, these glasses are quite durable. As one of the most clumsy people you will ever meet, I can attest to this after using these glasses from a speakeasy collection over 2 months. I have gotten these for quite an everyday use collection (I have gotten all varieties from the same collection), and none of them are broken yet. Let me tell you, that alone deserves a Nobel prize haha. This looks quite good and feels nice in hands.The reason for 4.5 not 5 is, as with all other glasses from this collection, the box came in not perfect condition, which is fine with me but if you intend to give this as a gift, you might not like how it is delivered. Other than that, this would also make a good housewarming gift as well.It is now offered at a reduced price compared to when I first received them, so I would say this is quite a good deal.

This set has earned five stars. It's sturdy, stunning, and I love the packaging. The design is very classy and matches so well with the others in the Speakeasy collection. I acquired this set to gift to a friend and her fiance.The packaging is very classy and well insulated to ensure no damage comes to the glasses.The only problem I noted was that there was a typo in the gold lettering on the inside of the box. For those unfamiliar with the collection, each box has a brief description of the glass, what mixes to use it for, how to hold it, and a few recommendations for some drinks that you could put in it.I did note that there was a typo in the description "...while the sturdy base means IT robust enough for muddled preparations." Maybe nothing of importance, but I did note it as I was reading the inside of the box.Overall though, I do love the collection and the style and cut of the glasses. I know my friends will be thrilled to have such a nice set for their own home as they take lots of pride in their collection of wines and spirits.

I got these glasses because I like the design pattern. You can barely see the seams on the side and the pattern lines up perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised by how sturdy they feel. These are definitely top quality glasses. The capacity is very good. 12 ounces is better than most. I know that a lot of people may purchase these for making old fashions, but they can be used for much more than that. I love to have cocktails in them. There are also a few cocktail recipes on the back of the box top. The box that these come in is nice looking. It makes them perfect for an elegant gift. I think that these are top quality glasses. I would recommend them to anyone.

These glasses are thick and cut beautifully! They have some nice weight to them and are packaged in such a classy way, giving some background on the history of the style of glass and what types of drinks they're used for. Wonderful additions to the liquor cabinet.

I acquired this set out of curiosity for such a price tag. And I was not dissapointed! The glasses look great even though you can notice the seems on the sides. They come nicely packed in a very attractive box with a little story printed inside the lid. I got these for myself (along with other sets to complete the collection), but they would certainly make a great present!

This is a great gift or purchase for a novice whiskey drinker. The glasses are well made and solid. But you can find that anywhere. What really sets this item apart is the beautiful box that it comes with an the inscription inside. The box gives instruction and guidance on what to drink out of these glasses and even how to hold the glass as to not mess with the composition of the drink itself. It really makes having a drink a form of art. A great addition to any bar.

My wife got me these and they are the best whiskey glasses I have ever had. Shipped fast and arrived undamaged. I put them in the dishwasher before using them and they held up to the dishwasher. Made an old fashion in them with no issues. I will definitely look at other glasses from this company to add to my bar collection.
