Plano2-3601-00 Thin Stowaway with Adjustable Dividers, Clear, One Size (2360100)

This is a really nice box, less wasted space due to the thin design, allows me to carry more lures in less space and find what I need quicker! That being said, the part number: 2-3601 indicated to me that this would be a pair pack. It is not. That makes the price for one more than what I paid at Cabelas for the same box. Not what you would expect from Amazon. Now I need one more box, wonder where I will get it?

These Plano boxes are sturdy, their dividers fit snugly, and they latch securely closed. The latches snap firmly and might even be said to be a bit hard to snap. This 3601 box is shallower than most Plano utility boxes, only 1-1/8 inch deep. (Plano's "standard" depth for this kind of box is 1-3/4 inches, and Plano makes some "deep" models that are over 2 inches deep, so choose the right box for you application.) The fixed dividers run side-to-side ("longways"), creating 4 long compartments that can be further separated by adjustable dividers that are provided. The adjustable dividers can create up to 6 compartments about 1-1/2 inches wide in each of 3 of the long compartments, but the front-most side-to-side compartment may only be divided into 3, 3-inch compartments because the receptacles for the latches intrude a bit. On the long fixed dividers there are at certain locations slots to receive the adjustable dividers. The edges of the adjustable dividers have flanges, and the slots are shaped to mate with the flanges, so the adjustable dividers are held securely in place against the fixed dividers. It is possible, however, for thin items (e.g., washers) to slide under and adjustable divider, but I haven't found this to be a problem. All in all, these are quality utility boxes

This is the thin version and is perfect for jewelry, do not get the deeper boxes unless you have big bulky jewelry. Love the fact that compartments are adjustable and re adjustable as your needs change. Also, jewelry stays organized even if box is moved or turned upside down. I put mine in my safe, but perfect also for travel, to keep in drawers, or on dresser.

After previously purchasing one of these boxes at a local tackle store, I ordered a case of these Plano boxes to use for storing my crappie tackle. The very thin profile permitted me to get a lot of them into my crappie bag, yet keep different items separated. To my disappointment, when I began to get them ready for tackle, I noticed on the label that they were "Made in China". Also, when I attempted to peel off the labels, they did not remove cleanly as had been my previous experience with Plano boxes. I had to pick and peel and use Goo Gone to remove labels completely. A long, messy and tedious job! I also felt that the latches were too difficult to close and the partitions did not cleanly break off and separate from each other...the plastic was too soft and flexible...I had use a knife to remove excess plastic so they would fit properly into the slots. I have always been a Plano fan, so I called them to express my dissatisfaction with "Made in China" and the other problems I experienced. Their response suggested that the "Made in China" was because they were creating new molds there and suggested I use WD-40 to remove glue...which worked poorly. Now that the boxes "set up" they are ok...it was the process of getting there that upset me, as well as the fact that another American company had shipped work overseas jeopardizing the quality of their product. I shouldn't be too harsh of them for they did send me a free hat!

I love them! The price is reasonable here compare to big outdoors shops. The super thin feature has made my dream come true. Now I can fit 8 boxes in my tackle box, where only 4 of the regular 360 utility box can fit. I always want more tackle with me when I go fishing. You can never bring too many lures, and you know you are gonna need them when you are at the lake.These thin boxes are perfect for me because I like all my lures and other tackles separated from each other. No tangle, no messy clutter. No more waisting time sorting through my congested box. I can enjoy my fishing time to the fullest now! The plastic is very clear and easy to see thru. So easy to find anything I need. even if I have placed the box upside down.I haven't been this excited about a tackle box for a long time. Let's go fishing. :-D

The thin profile is an awesome design and beyond a space saver but as far as the dividers I had to use my knife to shave off the sides of each one because if you put them in without doing so it flexed the box and made the latches go on a bind a bit. Other than that it's a no brainer. Less wasted space, in most cases some of your hooks and other tackle only take up merely 1/8 inch of depth and you have all that extra wasted space in normal tackle totes but with this you can fit nearly double the boxes possibly.

This particular size is hard to find and was priced more than I thought it should be. I needed it for my Caverna game and for that it works very well and was worth the price.

These work great, and are strong and durable. I’ll buy no other kind. I’m sold in Plano products.

Great sturdy product. Thin so I can fit 3 of these in my tackle bag vs. two of the regular ones. Fits everything I need. It was too small to fit my spinnerbait and buzzbait, so I cut down 1 row with an exacto knife and it's still sturdy with no issues. Ordering another!!
