We are big pandoro fans in my house so I thought we should try the original. First order was a big mistake - this product is made before Christmas but not after, and there are no preservatives. By February, the cake is at least 4 months old. Still edible if toasted, but just don't do it.This year we ordered much earlier and were pleased with the product - nice and fresh. People complain about the "burnt" bottom, but that's actually the top of the pan while it's baking and it's nearly impossible for it not to be brown. Just slice it off and get over it. People also complain that it's bland, but it's meant to be subtle. If you need more excitement, buy panettone instead. Or whip a few drops of Fiori di Sicilia into some mascarpone and add a dollop. Lastly, if you're complaining about paying appx twenty dollars for this, try to buy one in an Italian food store.

We were lucky enough to receive one of these a few years ago and now we can't celebrate the holidays without one. So delicious, especially with morning coffee. The cake is light and fluffy and tears nicely. We get one of these for everyone on our holiday shopping list.

This pandoro is sumptuously delicious. Great with coffee or tea. Not overtly sweet even with the packet of powdered sugar it comes with. It is on the expensive side for being bread but if you compare it to other pandoro or panettone it's not one of the most expensive. I highly recommend to buy at least just for the holidays and to start a new tradition.

It’s as it should be. Soft, moist, and delicious. It’s smaller than the usual but that’s a good thing for me because I will eat the entire thing in a day.

We get a pandora every year for the holiday because my husband is Italian and it was a tradition for him. This year, the cake was smaller and drier but the cost was the same.

Very good traditional Italian cake. Simple and soft sweet bread that is almost like a very delicate vanilla infused bread cake .Perfect for breakfast or great with tea. The grandkids loves this special Christmas treat !

I ordered a lot of these last year they were so good. This year my purchase was smaller, but also dry and overbaked.
