Durable and affordable
I have 3 of the rectangular waterproof beds. They are fantastic especially for large dogs. I put a waterproof crib sheet around them and they stay nice and cushy. Absolutely a fantastic purchase, worth every penny.

Tough cover but not comfy, and no cedar in it
Snoozer Waterproof Rectangle Pet Bed-This bed has a very tough cover. Even the puppy can't destroy it. However, none of my 4 really like it. The puppy will get on it, but not for long. The adults won't get on it. The cover is of such tough, thick, stiff material that it seems it's just not cozy for them. The description says it's cedar/poly filled. There is NO CEDAR IN IT! I may eventually get or make another cover for it. Without the cover the inside pillow seems soft and comfy enough. I bet a nice flannel or sherpa cover would do well.

Nice outdoor bed
Nice outdoor bed. Very poofy at first (difficult for dogs to balance on it), but eventually settles down with use. Fabric appears to be good balance between durable and comfortable. Size is different than advertised.

Works great as a cat bed!!!
In the past few months, we have been having some inappropriate peeing issues with the two male kitties of the household. Milo, who went through surgery for a urinary blockage a few years ago, and Brutus. While Brutus tends to mark the curtains, Mio has been given the nickname of pee-monster due to his fascination with peeing on just about anything in the house, including all the cat beds.I spent countless hours washing all the beds with cleaner designed to remove all traces of the urine, but it seemed that no matter how many times I tried, he would still go back and pee on bed that I just spent so many hours washing. I finally made the tough decision to dispose of the existing beds and find something that would not absorb odor, should Milo decide to pee on it.I spent hours researching waterproof beds, and found many that claimed to be waterproof, but the reviews were not that great, then I stumbled upon this one. We've had it for awhile now, and our third kitty Bigfoot loves it. Its one of her favorite spots to sleep when we watch TV in the evening. It also stands up to washing, as I have had to put it through the wash once so far due to an indirect hit from Brutus "marking" the curtains again. The only downside was I did have to put a blanket on it to make it more enticing for the cats to sleep on, as the cover must have been a bit too uncomfortable on their delicate little tummies, but other than that, its a win. Would definitely get again in the future, and highly recommend for anyone looking for a waterproof indoor bed.

Cover is NOT durable.
I paid almost $100 for this dog bed for my pup. And it has been kept under a covered dog house and also off of the bare ground. We regularly cleaned it to ensure there were no bugs getting inside of it due to the two holes on the side (they’re for air flow I assume) and I find that my 45 pound dog was able to easily chew a hole through the “durable cover” and even through the pillow inside and pulled all of the stuffing out. What a waste.

Great size for our setter/great dane.
Great quality product. Durable thick material dog nails wont easily slice. Just wish the pillow insert would fit in washer for easier cleaning. I recommend hang drying so the waterproof lining in cover doesnt crack and crumble.***Update-the liner does crack and crumble after washing only a few times. It is really hard to remove the fur from cover.

No good for weak old dog.
I ordered this because of the waterproof cover. We have a 15 year old dog who is about 50 lbs. I saw the other reviews about it being too poofy for their dogs, but figured ours dog was big enough and thought it would be fine. The cover is fantastic, however, the poof doesn't go away when you press down on it and my dog couldn't actually get on the bed. We had to return it.This would probably be a good bed for a really big strong dog.

My dogs love being outside on nice days and yet the deck ...
My dogs love being outside on nice days and yet the deck is hard to lay on. This is the best pet bed. Can go from indoors to outdoors. I bought my second one and I leave them outside all the time and never bring it in. I have had my first one for MANY years and it holds up to hail,. snow, rain sun you name it. Super comfy too!

Dogs hated it - returned.
We have three dogs and they would go no where near this bed! Even covered it with blankets and this still wanted nothing to do with it. Seemed very uncomfortable for them.

A dogs dream
Built heavy duty. Maybe a little too heavy duty for our mid-sized dog. She has a bit of a time getting on it because it's so thick.

A bit too puffed up for my dog
My dog hated it. It fills up with air constantly and my dog isn't heavy enough to squash it down, so she freaks out when she's wobbling around and just won't go on it (a 20 kg Border Collie mix). I think the last straw was when I tried to put her on the top and there was so much air inside that she slid off the bed upside down. I've tried squishing the air out myself by laying on it, but it fills back up as soon as I get off.On a positive note, the material is fantastic. Very well made, and looks like it will last forever. I've actually kept the bed to have on the deck as a kid beanbag. The bed looks pretty weatherproof and sealed (hence the air not being able to escape). I think if I took a bit of filling out until the rest of the filling compressed a bit over time then it might help for the dog. Perhaps I could not do the zip up completely so that some air can escape. Anyway, as I managed to get the bed cheaper (as a returned item), I decided it was worth keeping to use for something or other, because it does seem well made (apart from the self-sealing balloon effect for lighter dogs).
