Looks and feels well made. Gives better flow and much better sound with these on!

I bought a cold air intake system for my Wrangler which I off road frequently. Constant exposure to mud, dust and wet conditions quickly deteriorated the original filter (along with a brake fluid reservoir leak). I quickly found the replacement of this filter to be a fairly expensive item and looked for more economical replacements. I settled on this one for its design, filtration properties, ease of cleaning and price. Very happy with it. This is my second from Amazon

These type filters once set up are much easier to replace than the stock open the box n slice the back of your hand ones lol. It’s easy to replace but cleaning them is a bucket hot water and dish soap. Then dry and lightly re oil. I use K&N spray oil red. Then let dry and reinstall. Or by 2, Switch out dirty one with other clean one ready to go while the other one sets from its cleaning/ re-oil n. Etc. I basically have done this for years on my ol Pontiac Grand Prix SE 1999 and short ram air 3” tube kit.

Quality is terrible - like they are the "throw outs" of a good brand but they are throw outs because some glue squeeze out and inner dome mis-aligned - but you get what you pay for - Put a sock/pre-filter on it to make it last longer. I can live with a few mistakes on it - since it's covered with a sock anyways - the looks do not take away from the performance. I hope this review helps people looking into why it's so cheap. It's a very good filter in all.

Definitely a cheap filter. You can tell from the construction. But all things considered, it looks and works totally fine. Could be better but since it is so cheap, 4 stars.

was hard as heck to slip onto the pipe even though I went with a bit of an oversize filter, pipe was 2.75, this filter inlet was 3" was like fighting an alligator for 2 hours I almost gave up, obviously not 3" inlet... then it stayed in engine bay for roughly 4 weeks before it suddenly started to crack, chunks of paper fell in everywhere and I was scared some of it got ingested, this lack of quality is happening a lot lately.

Have had it installed now for one year, already the gauze in filter is falling apart.
