Well Thought-Out, Solid Construction
Bought this along with OneGrill's rotisserie kit. LOL - these two add-ons cost more than the grill itself! Did we get our money's worth? I'd say yes.Versatile, and built with high-grade materials. You won't find anything close to this quality at discount/big box stores. I've used tumblers and flat racks before, it's nice to have one basket that does both. So far we've run 4 chicken quarters using the flat racks, and a 3 pound batch of wings in the tumbler. Both came out perfecto, and there was still room left for more food. I'd say this is the perfect size for smaller grills - ours is 25" X 17" at the grill surface. For larger upscale models, you'll likely want to add a second one if you do big loads on a regular basis. For some folks, the additional cost may be worth it.No setup is required. Just yank it out of the box and slide it onto your spit. Two large stainless phillips screws secure basket to the spit rod. Much easier to tighten (w/screwdriver) than thumbscews, and once tightened they stay put. The rack and basket panels are easily adjusted, it's pretty intuitive to set up the way you want. If all goes well, you'll be ready to start cooking in 15 minutes. But - there's one important thing to consider:OneGrill states that the basket exterior measures 4.75" inches above and below the spit at it's 2 widest points. But the minimum clearance isn't enough to insure the drum won't scrape the grill surface. In some cases, it may actually hang up on the grates, possibly damaging your motor. I measured the spit-to-grate distance before ordering, and it was a little over 4.75". I thought.that was close enough, but no - it hit the surface when the wide points spun over.the grate. FAIL...It was close, though, so I attempted to tweak both the basket and the spit mounts for more clearance. A combination of bending the curved panels and raisng the spit did the trick. Works like a champ now. I'd suggest that you allow at least 5" between spit and grate to prevent this. Otherwise you'll have to modify your setup, or remove one or more grates (and maybe some flare-up guards below the grates). I want to keep my grates in place if possible, but that's just me. If that doesn't matter to you, just yank the grate(s) before each use - that's better than risking a serious problem. As for cleaning - well, don't get your hopes up. It's the nature of the beast to get gunked up. It helps to spray some Grill Pam inside the basket, but it's still gonna get cruddy over time. It does break down easily, though, so I see no reason you couldn't soak the parts overnight then run 'em through the nuclear cycle of your dishwasher. After 2 runs, I haven't found the need for a complete cleaning yet. It looks dirty, but hasn't affected flavor yet. We'll see - perhaps a little curing is a good thing.

An interesting bit of grilling kit.
So, I have just finished using this for the first time to cook some baby back ribs. I cooked them with mesquite lump charcoal using indirect heat and of course a rotisserie. The ribs cooked in about an hour twenty minutes, I was afraid to leave them any longer or they would be dried out. They had a great flavor but didn't come off the bone the way I like. I will need to experiment some more. I like the concept and the quality is good, they are a massive PITA to clean though. Welcome to grilling. I could make some design modification recommendations though. Oh, and the basket needs to be three inches longer.

Great addition to the rotisserie feature on my Weber grill. UPDATE!
This basket is very sturdy and can handle just about anything. I like being able to put smaller items on the rotisserie with this basket. I wish I had taken a picture of the chicken thighs after they were cooked. They came out perfect. The basket takes a little time to learn how to use but once you get used to it and see its advantages, it's a great barbecue tool. I can rotisserie vegetables with certain Meats. The only thing my spit and forks is good for is a whole chicken or a whole rack of ribs. Everything else goes in the basket. I can secure the food or let it turn and Tumble just depending on the kind of food I'm cooking. Great addition to my Weber grill.Update: As much as I love using this premium BBQ tool, I found the one drawback. It's horrendous to clean. I've tried a small wire brush, Brillo pads, Barkeepers Friend, and grease busters. I cleaned for hours. The only thing that seems to work better is Dawn Platinum. Apply it straight and let it soak for a few minutes. Then use a small wire brush. I'd like to know if I can use oven cleaner on the basket. That would be so much easier. Or can I put it in my self-cleaning oven--better yet! I'll ask the manufacturer and let you know.

Great Wings on Large BGE
The basket arrived quickly (even though it wasn't prime) and was easy to assemble. I saw the review where it worked ok a Large BGE however I missed in the description that it wasn't intended for an 18" kamado which is the Large size. I put the basket on my Joetisserie spit and put it on the grill to test the size, it fit but as I turned it on the handles started hitting the side and kept the basket from spinning. I was BUMMED as I love the size and flexibility of the basket so instead of sending it back I cut the clips just before the bend and only on one side and it fits perfectly now. The rods are still very easy to squeeze without the ends on them and cleaning was simple in the dishwasher! My knocking down a star is for poor planning on the design size as kamado users would be very beneficial and would only require very minor tweaks to the design of the squeeze clips. Overall great product after some minor adjustments!

Great Basket
Once I figured out how to assemble it, it worked like a charm. I did a batch of chicken wings on my Kamado Big Joe and they were perfect. I was going to spray it with PAM, but i forgot, but after leaving it in the sink to soak for an hour, it cleaned up by just wiping it with a sponge.Clever engineering and solid materials.

Fair Price and reasonable delivery time
After one use, cleaning is what one would expect, it’s not a quick and simple process. Works perfectly as intended. Would be nicer if the wire spacing was closer on outer enclosure which that would allow cooking smaller items like chopped or sliced veggies.
