KegcoKeg Tap Coupler, 1, Stainless Steel

Used with my new Kegerator system

My kegerator is plumbed with MFL ends for homebrew ball lock fittings / corny kegs. I wanted to have a sanke d-style coupler to accommodate commercial kegs without a bunch of re-plumbing, which led me to this product. My concern was that I couldn't find any good height/dimension info when using this on a commercial sixtel keg inside my kegerator. If you're wondering "will it fit", keep reading...Good news... in my case it did fit, but just barely. I have 28.25" of total height inside the kegerator and the beer hose on top just barely bends enough to make it. Any lower clearance than this in your kegerator (or taller keg than standard sixtel) and you should look at getting a low profile coupler instead.

The reviews were a bit iffy, but I bought it anyway. It was a good price, and just what I needed for my kegerator switch outs with Corny Kegs. One of the nuts, bev side, was not threaded correctly, and wouldn't attach. The upside is Beverage factory is a top notch home brew store, and I've used them for many years. A phone call, and an email, all all was corrected! It looks like I'm not the only one to get wrong parts, but Beverage Factory will fix you up! Just be prepared, seems kegco doesn't package very accurately.

It's cheap and works, for the most part. Mine was missing a washer as it came, but I called the seller, washer was in my hands in 2 days, no problem. I did have one issue where the nut holding together the plastic handle was loose and came off. I fixed it fairly quickly with a bit of finess with needle nosed pliers, but it was slightly annoying, since you can't actually actuate the coupler without pulling on the plastic handle.

Included coupler with stainless probe, 2 mfl tailpieces, 2 nuts, 1 gas check valve/washer, 1 liquid line washer, and 1 barb connection. Came with everything needed to swap between commercial and corny kegs.Edit: You'll want to buy some plastic flared fitting gaskets to prevent leaks when connecting the flared fittings to the mfl tailpieces, if you don't have some already. They were not included with this set, but they don't claim to be.

Just what I needed. I was getting tired of swapping my fittings around on my kegerator. This makes swapping between Ball Lock and Sankee tap a dream. Kegco is quality products and this is a total upgrade from what I had.

It can be hard to find couplers with flare fittings included, and this is a good price taboot. Convenient for use in a home kegerator setup where you might want to switch lines from sankey to a homebrew keg and back.

Simple to convert and revert back to korny kegs. Cheapest place in town to buy. All components were included! No muss, no fuss!
