A Little Big For Me
I love the Provo Craft Knifty Knitter looms.....I have MANY. I am glad I have this size and I'm sure I will find a use for it....like making a "turtle neck scarf"....but for the most part it is pretty big. It has 41 pegs, but it is 11 inches across. Most people think that the purple loom is bigger because it has 48 pegs, but that isn't true....the purple loom is only 10 inches across. This yellow one is the biggest round loom I have seen.If you are looking for a loom to make an adult size hat I would suggest the green or purple looms.....the purple is my favorite because it is a nice adult size with a tighter knit.

Pretty big to make a hat for any person I know. Great for Lapghans
This loom makes a GIANT hat! I wear an extra large 7 7/8 hat and the hat this loom makes floats loosely on my head. The loom might be useful for making flat projects up to about 32" wide. At 7/8" the gauge is a bit wide. There are 41 pegs and circumference on outside edge of pegs is 34.5". With an odd number of pegs (41) certain designs will be difficult if not impossible to make on this loom.Note: After getting this loom I purchased the Purple hat loom and am very happy with it.Edit 11/19/2014 I found the loom is good for making Lapghans for wheelchair bound friends and family. Added 2 stars

Great Knitting Loom!
I love the strength and durability of these looms! I was so happy with a smaller one I picked up at a thrift store that I decided to buy the Knifty Knitter brand large loom for hats. I've tried a knock off brand too but the plastic is not near as strong or the pegs fall out during knitting. The reason I'm giving it a three is because it was not manufactured properly. Three peg holes on the loom I received are sealed closed... I thought maybe it was a slide underneath for closing unused pegs but it's a flawed piece.*****UPDATE: I've added 2 stars because I returned the product and recieved a new one within a week! It wasn't a manufacturing flaw but the pegs had broken off in transit. Excellent quality. Very sturdy, I cannot twist or bend this loom at all! None of the pegs are loose so you can knit tighter stitches without fear of the pegs coming loose and dropping a stitch.

nice
First experience with look knitting and it has been nice.My only qualm with this look is that after you get into the project the legs start trying to get loose. This may be normal, I honestly don't know so I didnt give a bad review.

LOVE IT!
I love to make stocking hats - it's great therapy for me. Especially on cold windy days with the woodstove blazing away. My original Knifty Knitter set did not come with the yellow loom, and I found my hats were not working for a large portion of my community....so I got this and the purple loom. Now, I can make small, med, large and ex-large hats everyone's happy. Of the different style and brands of looms on the market, I find that Provo Craft has the best of the best.If I were going to ask Provo Craft to make any changes to these looms, it would be to make an 18 peg loom with the pegs closer together than the large looms.I recommend all of these looms but wish I found the yellow one sooner.

I like loom knitting too
I received this on time in good condition. I really didn't need a knitting loom since I love knooking (knitting with a specialized crochet hook called a knook) but I was curious about knitting on a loom. This is really a fun way to knit. My first project was a shawl and I'm almost finished with it. It looks beautiful and learning to make it was easy and enjoyable. This loom is especially good for projects like shawls and afghans where I would want to use a heavier stitch. For projects requiring a smaller finer stitch I'm better off using a knook. I recommend knitting on both the loom and the knook.

ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!!!
I'm obsessed. My super manly brother-in-law got me "hooked" and I just got my 14 year old too-cool-for-school cousin into this. Seriously, good for anyone / super easy so even the least coordinated of crafters can do this. Want to get more complicated, type "circle loom" into youtube and you shall not cease to be amazed.I have used this by going back and forth like a typewriter (think rectangle instead of tube). It's pretty wide, maybe a baby blanket? I'm using it to make a gigantic mitten, because why not?
