My backyard birds might LOVE this product too much, they can eat a whole cake in a couple days.I can easily break the cake in half and place in my suet-ball-tube like feeder also.

I did a lot of reading up on what is the best suet food for Wild birds. It just seemed to me the ones at Big Lots and Walmart doesn't look healthy to me. For the most part, those are not. To much fat is not good for the birds. I really wanted the mostly nut and mealworm. This package you can see the worms. Also, Suets that you can push your fingers into are apparently not healthy for our winged friends, as the fat gets on their wings as the prune themselves, and then it makes it difficult to fly. This being said, I am pretty happy with my delivery. The birds love it too. Solid nuts and worms. They came without incident (I read somewhere people had issues with suets arriving in pieces, mine came in one box, well packaged). 12 for 50 with tax , they end up at $4.41 a piece. Slightly higher that the average $3.50 per suet at Walmart but better quality.

Didn't attract any blue birds which is what I was hoping for but other birds enjoyed it.

The birds love it I wish it wasn't so expensive I have it in a feeder that squirrels can't get in the woodpeckers, and bluebirds and any bird that can get to it loves it... Just too expensive

I buy it for outdoor birds but squirrels beat them to it. All these animals need food in winter to survive.

Attracts the birds quickly, some I've never seen before. They eat it very fast.

I buy the mealworm suets for winter feeding of my insectivore birds and they thank me by returning to my feeders over and over. It is packed full of meal worms that are readily visible. My only worry is it must be protected from rain or it will soften and fall apart because it is held together by glycerine rather than the suet fat. Just shelter it and you'll be rewarded with a wonderful selection of birds that struggle for insects during the winter.

Our variety of birds, especially the woodpeckers, love this mealworm medley.
