I recently resumed walking after a layoff of over a year. Within a week of resumption, my calves started complaining - that was still tolerable. But when the muscles next to my shin bone joined in the protest, I knew I had to do something. Manual massage, ache balms, battery-powered focused massager - they all seemed to help a bit, but not to the extent that the pain would go away completely. Then my wife showed me this massager and I said - why not. The first time I tried it, I did not know what to expect. A quick read through the simple manual, and I was on board with its capabilities to massage the leg beneath the knee, or just a portion of it, and with different intensity levels with or without using heated air to aid in the recovery. I worked up the courage to try the highest intensity in the 3rd or 4th session - and it was something! So, my usual day has a session with the massager, preferably after the walk and that seems to rejuvenate the legs sufficiently. Sometimes it is one of the last activities of the day just before turning in for the night. Either way, it is helpful. What happens with it is that it pumps in air in different pockets (or all pockets) of the leg cover that encloses the leg and locks with velcro, and then the air is released after a while - it is this cycle that creates a sensation of the leg being massaged manually.There is an extension part to the leg cover, for people who need extended coverage.Overall, I found it a useful aid to keep me up to getting my daily steps and not complaining about achy legs. One thing to keep in mind - the velcro clasp is rather strong, so when you set it aside, make sure to make minimal contact between the two sides of the cover, else you would be pulling them off with considerable effort when the time comes for the next use. Also, do not let the velcro attach itself to the carpet on the floor - that makes for another noisy session subsequently.Happy legs!

So this is intense!!! If you wrap it too tightly it can be painful but you just adjust the sleeves a little looser but it really does feel good. I am hoping this will help alleviate my leg cramps at night. It’s my first night so I will update when I see the results. Just for a massage it’s amazing!

Would highly recommend, I bought it after surgery to help with leg circulation and I still use it every other day. The pressure is great and the heat feature helps after a long day!

I've been using the UMARMUNG compression device for about a week now, and I'm very pleased with this product. It was more competitively priced with other options and it does precisely what I was hoping it would do, which is inflate and deflate at regular intervals for a massaging effect that helps with swelling and discomfort. For me, the lowest heat setting is more than enough for gentle warming, and if you follow the general rule of thumb to wrap the uninflated device snugly but not so snug that you can't fit a finger underneath, the pressure on the lowest setting isn't uncomfortable or painful. It runs for about 20 minutes before turning itself off, which is nice since using a device like this can be risky if you fall asleep with it on. I have found that when I use it at the end of the day, the swelling is greatly decreased, and I have less discomfort when I wake up in the morning. Definitely recommend this device.

I purchased this as a gift for my parents who are elderly and having trouble with mobility. This was so nice because it not only massaged their legs and feet which was comforting, it helped with circulation and my fathers diabetes. The only word of caution is the Velcro is extremely strong! So in my case they needed help with opening it and taking it off. But I really like it and it has a Great Wall charging option.

The quality is great and it’s very lightweight and portable. Also, it’s easy to use and easily adaptable. Got them for my parents to use on a long flight, but they now use it every day.

Wife loves them. She has RLS and loved these when she had a hospital stay once. I found these and bought them for her. She absolutely loves them and uses them all the time.

I find that it doesn’t massage long enough or deep enough on the areas where I need relief. False advertising. Amazon website states 2 month return window but says this item is not eligible for return.Buyer beware.

Purchased this for my mom. Too hard for her to unstick the Velcro. Wanted to return it but for some reason I couldn’t. Money not we’ll spent. This is not a leg massager. Think of a blood pressure cuff on your legs with different settings plus heat. Completely useless.
