We're so pleased with the map, it looks so good and is a real talking point. We mounted it on a board, painted pale blue, rather than putting it directly onto the wall, just personal preference. It takes a long time to complete but is well worth the effort. We did run out of tape though so have used normal double sided tape but we could have glued the pieces directly to the board, we may still do this

Overall very satisfied with this purchase. Easy install instructions, although it took me nearly 6 hours to put up on my own. Colours are vivid and all pieces cut out to perfection, some delicate work taking out the smaller aslaskan island ieces out of the sheet, but a small push with with the back of a pair of tweezers worked great. Would highly recommend tweezers for taking off the double sided tape cover.There are, however, one or two niggles with the product. First being not all countries have flag/pin holes, this includes all islands.Second issue is some of the flag/pin holes that are available are very close to the edges of some of the countries meaning as you push the pin in the wood splits and breaks off. Nothing a bit of glue didn't fix, but didn't expect to have to do a patch job for the price I paid.

Die Karte ist irreführend, da z. B. Afrika und Südamerika um ein Vielfaches zu klein dargestellt sind (Beispiele: Afrika ist 1,77 mal so groß wie Russland, wirkt aber eher gut halb so groß - kleiner als auf dem Foto, da Russland hier ganz flach ist). Es ist eine alte Projektion aus der Zeit des Kolonialismus.Das ist sehr schade, da die Idee so schön ist.

Nastro biadesivo assolutamente non sufficiente per la mappa L, in pratica non ho neanche finito di attaccare i continenti. Chissà quanto costa metterne uno in più…non è neanche così semplice da utilizzare.PS puntine con le bandiere non incluse, anche se fanno vedere in foto.
