SANDMARC Procharge: Triple Charger for GoPro Hero 8, 7, 6, 5, 4 and Smart (WiFi) Remote

Batteries charge fine, however remote charging became intermittent after first use. Currently the remote charging no longer works after second try.Update: I sent Sandmarc customer service an email to tell them the root cause of the intermittent/failure, not expecting anything. After all I did dismantle the unit to troubleshoot it which typically voids any warranty. They responded stating that the ..."unit you received is defective and we can ship you a new one regardless since our warranty covers all defects (both dismantled or not)". I will post another update once the replacement is received. Regardless, they are a responsive company and as a result, I have upgraded the 'star' rating from 2 to 3.2nd Update: This is a stand-up company. They honor their warranty and are a pleasure to deal with. They responded to my email regarding teh faulty product, and sent a replacement. I would not hesitate to buy again or recommend them and their products. Because of all this, I upgraded them to a "5-star" rating. Thank you.

This is a solid piece for any GoPro user. It charges my Hero 7 AND Hero 4 Silver batteries. So I thought I'd add this tip to counter all the negative reviews saying this won't charge the Smart Remote. GoPro's system for charging the remote with the two brass tabs that connect two brass posts is flawed. If your remote goes in water of any kind, corrosion will form on the brass tabs that contact the charger posts. The tabs must be cleaned to insure a clean contact. This was a problem for me even using the included GoPro remote charger. MUST BE CLEAN! I used isopropyl alcohol to clean mine yesterday. I tested it with the GoPro remote charger and the Sandmarc and both will charge when the terminals are clean. So before you give a negative review, check your remote's charging terminals. 98% certain that's where the problem is.This doesn't charge the batteries very fast, but fast enough. 2-3 hours full dead to 100%

I don’t know if this was just the luck of the draw or it this product is like this but I have a hero 4 which this product says to be compatible with, and I find myself having to forcefully shove the batteries in if not it won’t charge. And once it’s in, the light turns on and off. It’s as if the slots were a tad bit small to fit that battery. I couldn’t travel with it for fear that it may halfway charge and leave me standed.

Really this thing is pretty great. You cannot beat the price for a multi battery and remote charger that actually works.I use this for my Gopro 4 and 7 and charges them both fine. I may even buy a second one because i have soo many batteries between 2 cameras and would be nice to have more charging at one time.If you use your Gopro alot and have multiple batteries, this is a must have!

I typically stick with GoPro electronics and just use 3rd party for other accessories mounts etc. But, after reading reviews on this product I decided to give it a try. So far so good! Charged 2 GoPro 5 batteries and the remote just as advertised at one time. Not sure how long they took to charge as I charged them overnight. The post on the charger retains the remote with the same type of clip as the factory charger and lanyard use. The only thing that would be nice is a status light for the remote. The batteries have status light but not the remote.

Its cheap in price, and it is true, you get what you pay for. Lasted just over a year, and now its not charging correctly, and the lights will alternate between each battery, and flicker green or red depending on how you place the battery. I guess i should have stuck to GoPro brand?

Update--January 9, 2018--I originally rated this product with two stars, but SANDMARC offered to make things right for me. As a result, I've changed my rating to 5 stars. I left my original review intact--just in case someone else got the wrong shipment like I did.Original 2-star review--October 22, 2017The charger is good quality, and works fine with the GoPro Remote (which I have)--but isn't compatible with my GoPro Hero5 Black battery, despite what's written on the charger's packaging and Amazon description.I included photos so you can check if you have the same batteries I do before you make your decision to purchase this charger.If you look closely, you can see the pins in the charging stand are recessed--and can't make contact with the pins on the battery.I returned this item for a refund--which is a pity, because the charger is good quality, looks good, compatible with my remote, and doesn't take up a bunch of space. works great and it's so nice to be able to charge everything all off one device. I travel a lot for work and take my cameras with me (Hero4 Black and Hero5 Black) and this allows me to keep everything charged and running no matter where I go. I highly recommend this charger!

The charger for the Hero 5 does not come with a battery but the Hero 3/4 charger does. I don't think this is very clear but I accept that this was my misunderstanding. If I'd have realised I'd have bought a different charger from Amazon.I'm giving this three stars as other sellers are selling similar products with many good reviews but with multiple spare batteries and so this is not good value for money in comparison to what else is out there. The product does work but I think anyone will agree holding it in your hands it is cheap plastic and doesn't even come with a plug and so is poor value for money.I'd check out amazon and buy another charger which comes with batteries for less money and is therefore worth the expense.

I’ve charged 2 go pro remotes in this device . 1st one stopped working , I sent it back and got a replacement . And today the second has stopped working. And now won’t charge using the OG charger .

Worked fine for 1st month now giving trouble now & then.

Invaluable if you have a GoPro Hero(s) and Smart Remote.

Only used this about 3 times to charge my go pro battery’s ,the usb slot in the charger folded in on its self would not recommend it .
