Let's start with the positive. I was amazed at the night vision. It has a range of about 25 feet or so, and you can clearly see everything in the room in total darkness. It does shoot a fair video/picture in day light. A little washed out but for the money, it is a fantastic HD camera. The batteries hold a charge for a couple of weeks. Which is a major plus. The down side is the camera tends to feel a little loose with the controls and on screen menu could be better. It only has an 18 X zone which adequate. I purchased it for the night vision and I got what I paid for. If you're a ghost hunter it will do the job. I would recommend it to anyone looking at night vision.

The camera is good. It has a very decent IR night vision mode. The IR light on camera seems more than fine to light up a room. I would not call this a full spectrum camera, because you are not getting full spectrum. They justify the full spectrum by telling you to turn on the LED at the same time your IR light is on. (That is not full spectrum) they should be ashamed to be selling it as that! This is the only reason I had given it 3 stars. Now for the plus side. Camera is light, picture quility is good for what you pay. The night vision is great out of the box, but you may want external IR light when outdoors or in large rooms. The AP for your phone don't work, and is in Oriental writing. All things said good night vision and regular daytime digital camera. Not Full Spectrum!

....You need to buy an SD memory card together with this purchase as described by the seller..Osily has been quick and courteous to respond to all my concerns and criticisms .....I'm ready for my ghosting adventures so excited .. my next purchase will be a $500+ camcorder with UV and night vision capabilities ...overall I'm happy with it

This came to me in another language, including the instruction book and all the settings. There was not a way to change it because I could not read it. Nowhere on the page I bought it from did it say everything would be in an alternate language as everything I read when ordering was in English.

Word of advice, do not waste your money on this camcorder. It is not a true full spectrum mode, all your doing is change the color to vivid.i can't believe I wasted almost 200 on such a cheaply made camcorder. If your looking for something with night vision for paranormal investigations, I recommend going to eBay and get the Sony HDR SR-5, 7, or Sr-10. I got one for 60 bucks with shipping.

Excellent camera!took it with me to a trip to Europe and it did not disappoint me.- very nice grip, was very comfortable in the hand- picture was really beautiful- menu was very easy and looks like there's a few language option although the default English is good enough for me ;)this camera performed as described and overall I'm very happy with this product.

for one thing i was not given the camera i paid for. I was hurt right before i recieved the camera so i didn't use it till this year and when i took it out it was not the camera i ordered. it does not have the full spectrum on thiis camera and that was the main reason i bought that camera. I already have a camera that does all that the one I received

Now that I have attempted to actually use the camera I have found that it does not power on with a fully charged battery. I will be returning it.
