Not for aquarium use.. go for Higher micron
Used it for aquarium but Got choked in one day... and can't clean it easily.. had to throw away in 3 days of use... sumo was getting overflow..Overall quality was good. Moderate value.. not so economic for aquarium use.

I think It is not a 1 micron filter .mudwater passes through it.
