Now that summer has arrived, my mind turns to fruit and veggie slushies and I need straws. I looked for non-plastic straws online and settled on paper because they are available in the length and diameter that I want. These Webake Paper Straws are 7.75 inches long and 0.39 inches in diameter, according to the labeling. The length is actually 7 7/8 inches (20 cm); the diameter is 1 cm (10mm). I don't think they're quite fat enough for boba tea, but they are perfect for slushies, smoothies, Slurpees, and Frappuccinos. They come in a box. I chose the White straws instead of the barber pole colors because I wondered if the dye would come off in my mouth or in the drink if the straw sat in liquid for a long time. And white goes with everything.These are sturdy straws. The thickness is like paperboard. They do soften as they sit in your drink, but it doesn't affect usability. They actually get softer at the end you put in your mouth, but they never disintegrate. I left a straw in a glass of water for 12 hours as an experiment. The part of the straw in the water softened but held its shape; the water did not travel far up the straw so half of it remained dry. The whole thing dried out nearly as good as new after I removed it from the water. I find that the straws do get softer, faster in my fruit slushies than in water, which might be due to the acids in the fruit. But these work very well and you don't have to worry that your paper straw is going to fall apart. I like them a lot. Made in China.

These biodegradable straws are great ! I bought the cute stripped paper straws to cut back on our daily use of sooooo much plastic. I thought they’d be good for one use but then become flimsy and soggy by the end of drinking. Not true - these are extremely durable !! So much so, I used them when I made cake pops for a family get together. Perfect ! I think these are great, durable, and I highly recommend these straws. :)

I bought a package of these for a Where’s Waldo- themed bachelorette party, and of course, One year later, I have most of them left in my cupboard at home. I used, like, 14 for the party. Anyway, I made five gin and sodas (with lime) tonight over the course of five hours. This straw hung in there through it all! It’s only slightly damp and still totally functional. Of course, I trimmed it to fit my glass, but I doubt that impacted the durability. Recommend.

Paper straws will never last like plastic ones, but for people avoiding single-use plastics, these are a great alternative. They hold up very well as long as you don't let them sit in a drink forever. Also very attractive in an vintage sort of way.

I like to tuck these into my purse to encourage others to stop using plastic straws, they make our table looks so festive too. Everyone else in the restaurant wonders why we got the cute straws and they got the boring plastic ones.

These straws were a perfect accent to our party theme and the wide size worked great for slushes. They are more durable than you would expect for a paper straw and held up to multiple refills without getting soft or disintegrating. The price was slightly high, I could have purchased the same product in a different color for several dollars less. Overall, a fun addition to our party.

After searching for paper straws that would not get soggy for a long time I started using these about a year ago. They are consistently excellent and do not break or become limp for a long time. I make my own iced coffee daily and the straw is fine to use for many hours. Completely and highly recommend.

These straws are absolutely amazing. I purchased them to look pretty in my coffee bar, and was not disappointed. They are more durable than any paper straw I’ve ever used, hands down. I left a straw in my water cup overnight, and in the morning it was still firm. Good for the environment, and strong paper is perfect in my book! Very happy customer and will purchase again.
