Bought this for my 2011 Avalanche since my truck was using oil like crazy. According to people on YouTube, if you have the old-style valve cover it is known to cause excessive oil consumption. After replacing mine as it was the old style it seems to have fixed my oil consumption problem. Never thought I would ever think a valve cover would cause oil usage but the funky PCV being built in may have something to do with it. Pretty easy fix for a fair priced part.

Bought for 2007 Yukon 5.3. fits perfectly.. used tube from 2009 to fit pcv connection...just cut off end that goes to intake and press into original hose connector.

This valve cover is redesigned due to the large amount of oil being pulled into the combustion process through the PCV system. It only partially solved my problem. I installed a small air/water separator that is made for a compressor inline between the outlet of the valve cover and the inlet of the intake assembly. Works perfectly. These newly designed valve covers were redesigned by GM engineers not the vendor. If they don't fully correct your problem, it isn't the vendor's fault.

I just unboxed the product I checked all the threads to make they are ok and not messed up I looked at this one in the picture it’s non fill a hole where there should be threads. Very disappointed

I have a +10psi oil pump and beefy push rods that were flooding the old style pcv system. This redesign lets the oil drain back before being sucked into the intake.
