The best doorbell camera of your life
We live in an apartment complex with a crazy neighbor. Which prompted us to get this. There is a membership fee. However, Wyze has a verity of products not only for home protection but also for the home in general. They have light bulbs, a vacuum, among many other smart home products. I have yet to figure out the speaker but it's not really need. It's was easy to put up. The design is set to see feet and faces. Although there is a few second lag it is still very useful. I choose this one over ring specifically because I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg to make sure that crazy neighbor didn't put maggots in my door or gum in my key hole again.

Easy to install and works well
Works as it should installed a couple years ago and have had no problems with it. I don't get many people coming to the door but it is nice to know when someone does show up. Battey life is very good lasts several month between charges. Has a clean clear picture all around a good purchase works well with the other Wyze cameras I have on the house.

Love Wyze products.... Really love that Amazon offers them at a better price!
We've entrusted our home security to Wyze for several years now, and their products have yet to disappoint! Not sure why we didn't purchase this sooner, as we have almost all of the products they offer, many of them being pre-ordered, to ensure we received them promptly upon their release! With that being said, The Wyze Video Doorbell has been a fantastic addition to our system!Installation was truly a breeze. Within minutes, we had the doorbell up and running. The video quality has drastically improved over the years. The picture is incredibly vivid and clear! The wide field of view is also a huge plus, capturing a much broader area! The best part is the ability to speak through the app, even when we're not home!My only complaint is there is no option for permanent storage, unless you go in and manually save the footage, it is lost after a short time.Overall, we would recommend the Wyze Doorbell for anyone looking for reliable and affordable home security!

Great Product; OK Battery
I had a package stolen off my porch and decided to get a video doorbell as a deterrent. I've been happy with my other Wyze camera for years, so I thought I'd give their video doorbell a try.Since my front door doesn't have a spot for wiring, I needed a battery-powered option. Installation was simple with the sticky tape. This model doesn't support an SD card, so I paid $20 for the Pro account to get AI features and additional storage. It's much cheaper than other camera plans out there. There's also a free tier with notifications, but it's limited.Initially, I had some issues where I had to keep resetting my router because the doorbell wouldn't connect. After a week or two, that problem seemed to go away. Otherwise, I'm pretty happy with it. The video quality is good, and I get instant notifications on my phone whenever someone walks on my porch or delivers a package. There are plenty of options to personalize your notification and recording settings. The only thing I don't like is the inflated claims about battery life. The description says "up to six months," but I got about a week out of it at first. To be fair, I live on a busy street with lots of foot and car traffic. I emailed customer support and asked about settings to improve battery life, like changing which events trigger notifications, making the detection zone smaller, and setting detection sensitivity to low. After making those changes, I now get about 2-3 weeks between charges. It takes around 4-5 hours to fully charge the battery. While 2-3 weeks isn't awful, it's nowhere near six months. Again, if you live on a less busy street, you'd probably get better battery life. Most people in reviews claim 3 weeks to a month, so it's still absurd to claim six months.Overall, I’m pretty happy with the video doorbell. Just make sure to set your battery expectations to around a month.

Doorbell doesn’t work and tech support is worthless
This review is for the Duo Cam doorbell. Amazon has merged all the Wyze doorbell reviews into one place, which gives a misleading rating to this product.I own three of these doorbells. I ordered two directly from Wyze and had to order one from Amazon in order to leave this review. The doorbells will not record to the SD card. I have spent a month trying to get help from Wyze, to no avail. I have sent trouble logs from the app; called them; and have sent countless emails to them. All Wyze has done is run me around over and again with pointless troubleshooting that I already tried. They don’t respond to emails for 3-6 days. I kept asking for assistance in order to not miss my return window, but they do not respond to emails for days at a a time and then have zero answers…”did you reboot the doorbell…update the firmware…disconnect the power…remove the card…” Yes, i am tech savvy and I did all of that and more before i even contacted them. I’ve been troubleshooting these for a month and there has been no improvement or resolution. I have even given them a trouble code that randomly appears in the app, but they seem to have no idea what that code actually means. One thing Wyze does not list anywhere in the product manual or on their website or on Amazon is that in order to record continuously to the SD card the doorbell must be hardwired. Mine is hardwired so that’s not an issue for me, but it was one of the things that came up during one of the many email exchanges. That is info that should be listed so customers know up front and it is misleadingly not, but Wyze is hoping to rook people into paying them an extra $2.99 per camera to use their cloud recording. That’s obviously the plan with this new doorbell because it WILL NOT record to the card and they have absolutely no idea what the issue is, but have assured me for an entire month that their tech team is working to resolve the issue. Despite never resolving the issue, each email ends with “should you have any other concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us back anytime.” There has never been a single contact from them that I did not initiate first and no updates to indicate they are actually attempting to fix these doorbells. The doorbells also randomly ring my mechanical chime, which is annoying but I wasn’t even concerned with resolving that issue since I can see on the app if someone did ring it, and the main issue is that the doorbells will not record to the card and are worthless in providing the protection I purchased them for after someone tried to steal my car from my driveway. In order to return items you order directly from Wyze you have to email them to get them to send you a link, which in turn requires you to input your order number and email address, so instead of a convenient system that already knows my order based on the email I provided at that time, I have to locate that info elsewhere and write it down so I have it in front of me to start the return. SMH.Everything about this experience has been a joke.Avoid this product and avoid this company.
