I was in the market for an audio system with a budget of about 30k. Read a lot of reviews about Marshall, Harman speakers and almost finalised Marshall Acton 2. Then I saw Sonodyne Alaap and Bandish while browsing Amazon catalogue. I had heard good things about Sonodyne from my father and instantly got interested. The product got delivered in secure packaging. After unboxing I was impressed with the build quality. The speaker feels solid and I love the wooden finish. Turning it on, the sound quality is amazing. It produces a very balanced output. Clarity is on point. Bass is punchy but not overwhelming. I listen to a wide genre of music and Bandish handles all of them beautifully. Good for movies as well. I use AUX and Bluetooth inputs to connect with my computer and phone. I did not face any issue with connectivity. This does not have any built-in battery. I avoided speakers with built-in battery keeping in mind the longevity of the product.The remote feels a bit cheap and out of place. A better quality remote would complement the speaker.Overall I am satisfied with Sonodyne Bandish. Highly recommended!

Detailed, rich and balanced sound works well for jazz, rock, film music, Indian and Western classical music. Bass not excessive. Just right in my opinion.Simple, robust and elegant design.Four connectivity modes (BT, Opt, Aux, USB), which work well.Not very portable at 5kg but reasonably compact. Lacks graphic equaliser and treble+bass control and must be plugged in.Indian brand offering good value for money.

It does have a good sound quality. However, the good sound quality comes after some hours of listening. Moreover, there is a need for sound control through an app like in other companies.

The overall packaging and finishing of the product is great. Bluetooth works fine and I mostly use wired input to steam high resolution music on Tidal. I listen to classic trance, heavy metal, and electronic music.While it's enough loud for for my liking, I find the bass to be extremely muddy with little depth. Because of the bass, it sounds compressed like most bluetooth speakers. I've a Fugoo XL bluetooth speaker in the US and it sounds better than this although priced cheaper. I would not recommend this although it's made in India and they're from my city. Since you're claiming this as high fidelity, my expectations were higher for Inr 25k.I use a very good source, Fiio M11 Plus Dap but the bass from this makes it a disappointment.Update: 16/4/2022: After a few weeks of usage, the low frequency response has improved dramatically. I guess it needed some burn in to open up. Updating my review to 5 stars.

Look, built quality and sound quality, everything is awesome. The sound is very clear and crisp. And one more good thing is its completely Made in India product. Worth the buy.

The instrument is compact produce amazing sound with great clarity of all the frequency. It is connected easily via bluetooth and other common attachment s. It's a corde instrument thus though portable but you need a power socket nearby. I have a bigger music system about one third of the price but produce almost same quality of music when played really loud. But when you get high quality music and keep the volume really low and personal the sound quality is amazing and beautiful. Another important aspect is please give some time of playing so the speaker can have a little burn, lower frequencies will become more remarkable. My recommendation will be if you wish to have an compact instrument for personal pleasure go for it. Don't compare 1 lakh Bose or Sonos with this. It's the best at this price range.

Sonodyne Bandish is a great sound system. Have been eyeing Sonodyne products for years and finally I bought one. The system is built in wooden finish and fits well into one of your wooden cabinets. The fidelity of the sound is great and the signature Sonodyne quality. Excellent quality of sound both high and low frequencies. I had Bose sound touch as my first sound system and wanted another one for the second room and am i glad that I selected Sonodyne Bandish. Way to go Sonodyne. A great product - truely born and made in India.

Sonodyne remains a great choice in this price range. It may lack some modern features but delivers where it matters most. Impressed with the quality of sound and the overall feel of the device.
