So many reasons to buy this little beauty
The media could not be loaded. ProsValue for moneyLooks very stylishWell madeEasy to initiate and operateTakes little space on your counterIt comes with spoon/pressIt produces a very good cup of coffee for what it isVery good starter coffee machineMilk frothing is in no timeEasy to use I found no issuesNot inferior to any other brand at this price pointI purchased this to stay away from Nespresso pod machines at 0.60p per pod!I don’t find it too much faff, quite the opposite a nice ritual to wake up to and make your coffee as you feel to.This will save you a fortune and give you the opportunity to try many coffee varieties at low cost.I can’t see any cons for what it is and the price, will see how it performs with time although it has 2 year warrantee.I will recommend this buy.

standard cheap cappuccino maker. nothing special
as usual, the steam quality is not really well, but it's still a decent cappuccino machine. for the past review that I read from other customers about the watery coffee slurry, can be solved by putting more coffee into the portafilter and filling it to the brim. the coffee slurry will come out a little bit dryer.prosthe water heats up quite quicklythe cappuccino tastes greatstandard cappuccino machinecan fit an 8.5 cm tall cup into a cup space.consThe coffee slurry waste is not dry enough.most of the body machine parts are made of plastic, and it's quite light.the coffee likes to stick to the hot water dripper part, so have to clean up the hot water dripper with a piece of cloth after every use.

After brewing, the machine leaves a lot of water in the Porta Filter
I have owned a number of different coffee machines over the years all seem to have inherent faults they never seem to last. This Haden machine looks good, smaller than most and very well priced. It makes an excellent cup of coffee, black with a good creme. Never use the milk frother as the microwave is best and less messy. Which brings me to my only 3 star review. Once the coffee has brewed and you remove the Porta filter from the machine, along with the coffee slurry there is about 10mm of water on top of the filter making this very messy to dispose of. All other machines I've used leave the coffee slurry dry so you can just bang it into a box etc, for disposal. Also as there is a slight annoying drip from beneath the main body of the machine as you are about to make another coffee for a second person.I wrote to the Manufacturer as way of feed back enquiring if there was a way to prevent this or perhaps they re-design the post brewing process I am still waiting for a reply. Other reviewers who were provided with machines have not mentioned this. To summarize makes an excellent cup of coffee but prefer the other machines I've used because they were less messy.

If you're okay with a lot of work for 1 cup
Initially I liked this machine, but got rid of it in 1 month. Here's why:I guess I am like all of you: wanting to move from instant coffee to bean-to-cup but keep it affordable and zero-waste.I've worked as a barista in the past, so I'm not clueless when it comes to manual espresso machines and frother wands, and figured I could put up with the process.I bought a Krups grinder (highly recommended) and Lavazza fresh beans (also recommended) along with this to ensure a quality cup.It took me 3 days to clean it before use. No kidding. At first I did what the manual said: fill up the water tank and run that through the machine. This was actually a horrible process, because 1) I did not have the right size cups or glasses, regular tea or coffee mugs are too tall (see pic for max measurements) and 2) the machine does NOT measure off water like a Nespresso machine would. Once the coffee button is pressed, it keeps running until you press the button again. So you must stay with the machine, and it's hard to tell when reached the right size. I'd personally say it's not possible to make an espresso size, let alone a ristretto, because the machine simply does not push water forcefully enough to extract enough coffee at that fill, I've always had to make at least a lungo.Following the manufacturers instructions for cleaning resulted in horribly plastic-ey hot water, again and again. Both smell and taste, noticible through coffee too.Figured out with a google search it may be the plastic tank, luckily that was all it was and not the machine itself, but it did take letting it sit overnight in household vinegar & water and then scrub with hot soapy several times to finally neutralize the smell&taste. After cleaning I was wearing pink glasses for about 2 weeks. Coffee came out hot and tasted fine, and it had crema, maybe too much crema. Definitely more satifying than instant. No residue like when using a French Press or and Italian stove top one.But the machine always needs to be warmed up first. The handle takes a lot of ground coffee, and it's only enough for 1 cup. Making for guest is a long, awkward process. The Min and Max measurements on the handle aren't accurate: filling to anything less than Max results in super weak coffee and soggy grounds that are hard to dispose off and end up groing down the drain. Grounds must be pressed real tight. Even then, the grounds never come out in 1 chunk, it always takes hitting the edge of the food waste bin and then washing a quarter or so down the drain. After you've stood there waiting for the correct height of coffee in your cup, and you've pressed the coffee button to stop, it continues to leak after, regardless of whether you dispose of the used grinds immediately or not. Expect splash back everytime, and to clean the drip tray daily. If you don't, it will grow mold.Frother never produced a good froth. It takes a longer while to warm up, (and of course it can't be used at the same time as creating the espresso...) and even once the dial at the front tells you it's hot enough, it creates a piss stream into your milk. It will continue to create a piss stream through some actual steam even if you've had it on for a minute. This stirs up the milk so aggressively it only creates large bubbles, which 1) fill up your milk jug real fast, so you either stop to prevent spilling and/or cannot see whether you've got the right consistency and temperature, and 2) large bubbles are not sustainable froth and disappear once poured into coffee or do not mix with your coffee.Wand also stays super hot, so it can only be wiped clean with a very wet rag and purging it to clean inside creates another piss stream.Anyways, after trying my best with this machine I gave it to charity shop as I had thrown away the box and obv used the machine.I found out about re-usable pods for Nespresso machines, so I got that instead (I kept the Lavazza beans and Krups grinder, and bought L'Or Barista machine and Califa re-usable Nespresso compatible pods, whoch I both highly recommend and the latter of which I have also left a review for)
