We made this purchase for our two grandsons, ages 10 and 7. It was the ten year old's birthday, and he and his brother are very close and competitive. Their dad (our son) helped them assemble the two cars; while mom videoed the process. Trust me, it was intense, hilarious, and sweet for a grandma and grandpa to see. The races that took place afterwards were awesome. They loved the entire process. I wish I knew how to send you the video. Just like a lego set. Pieces come in bags (we did have to separate but that was fun too). Directions were easy to follow. My grandson has enjoyed putting this together and was extra surprised when the remote worked as well. I’d recommend for any of your lego loving kiddos!

This is the absolute worst, my son was so eager and excited to play with this only to complete the car and it doesn’t run when it’s put on the ground! Us parents have tried everything we could including loosening the wheels or checking for any mistakes but in the end nothing we did made a difference. It runs perfectly fast and fine when picked up however as soon as it touches the floor it doesn’t go. Don’t waste your money on this!

Need a organizer/tackle box to divide up all pieces before you even attempt to assemble cars. Haven’t got to build car yet because pieces are too similar to distinguish each piece needed unless very organized to start out. Might be fun once get an organizer book so can see all the pieces. Still working on but only have had toy for 7 year old grandson a couple of hours. Will need time to sit down with him without little brother interfering (3 year old)

My son put it all together and the remote and car don’t work. Tried several batteries and nothing!Disappointing for a child!
