Much better than Expected! Very Happy!
Really nice. Sturdy, strong, well made. Ball head works smoothly. Adjustments are easy. Comes with a quick release Arca Swiss mount to boot. The multiple angle locks for the legs are great. It can have a very wide stance, or narrow. I have yet to have the legs fully extended or setup the mono-pod feature. But I felt completely safe having my DSLR sitting on top of it for the entire day. If I didn't have kids my camera could stay permanently affixed until the job was done, it feels beefy and heavy enough to take some big knocks & kicks with no worries on tipping. I could always attach a sand bag to the hook on the center post and weigh it down if I wanted it to feel even more solid. However that seemed like overkill for the product shots I was doing. Anyway it's a great buy.

I'm Impressed
I was hoping to discover a rising star. Mission accomplished! The materials and workmanship are worth more than double the price. The Sinnofoto L8VH2 erects into a stable, solid mount. The Ball Head moves smoothly for easy, precise control. I was comparing Tripod/Ball Head in the in the $250ish range before I discovered the Sinnofoto L8VH2. I'm glad I gave this one an audition. Now, if it will just stand the test of time.....

This is a value, offering stability and build quality typical of 2x and 3x the price. Not lightweight and that's what I wanted.
