Just thick CA glue?
One might assume that any thick cure CA gel from the hobby industry would be WAY cheaper. And there are probably a wider range of cure times available. I'm also wondering what kind of a mess this will be to clean up the next time the grips are replaced. Old CA is terrible to clean up. I wonder what the factories use to install grips?

Works well if you aren't dumb
Put some on the bars and some on the grip then slid the grip on the bars. Had to spin it a little to get it to slide the whole way but had plenty of time to get it positioned. If you don't put it on the grip then take a break it works fine. Not sure how people are having issues. I've ridden about 20 times on rough track since and it hasn't broken loose.

Great aggressive, extremely fast sticking
Glue works great. Very strong hold. Fries extremely fast, best to be fast about positioning grips when using. About 3 seconds and it’s stuck. Better than Pro Taper.
