Seiko Prospex SPEEDTIMER Men's Solar Chronograph Wristwatch

Love this watch. Has the look of the Omega Speedmaster. Looks great on wrist with the 39mm dial. Good feel on the pushers although it only will go up to an hour on the chrono. The solar quartz will insure to keep accurate timing for the life of the battery. Have gotten quite a few compliments since I purchased this.

Beautiful dial. It is the perfect size and accuracy is spot on. 39mm is the perfect size. Shipping was very fast from Japan!

My watch came as advertised - shipped from Japan via DHL to the US, and amazingly was delivered just a few days after I ordered it. It was perfect in the box with tags and international warranty card. This is truly an "assembled in Japan" model, as the dial says JAPAN V192 and not MOV'T JAPAN.I had to zero the position of the chronograph sweep seconds hand as it was off by 1/5 second (a calibration process easily done). Once I did that, it resets to the 12 o'clock position exactly. All chronograph, time, and date functions work great, and even though I've managed to have a door slam on my arm and bumped it against a few things the sapphire crystal absolutely refuses to scratch. I have NO signs of wear of any kind after 2 months of having it on every day.I set it to WWV atomic time 2 months ago and found the watch consistently gains about 1 second every 5 days, for a total of 6 seconds a month (had it 2 months now) - well within the advertised tolerance of +/- 10 seconds a month. I can just hack (stop) the time for 12 seconds every few months when I have to advance the date (i.e. at the ends of non-31 day months) and it'll stay right on.I had to pull out 2 links to fit my 7-1/4" wrist. If you do this yourself by driving the pins out, watch out for the tiny little link pin friction tubes falling out. Do it on a clean table where you can catch the parts. The band looks and feels great, and has always latched well.This is a high quality, durable timepiece whose attention to detail stands up to any luxury model, even under a jeweler's loupe.

Watch it hard to read especially the date window which is basically unusable. No half links so a good fit is difficult. Watch is accurate I will say however I’m going to return it.

This is an excellent watch for the price, not your usual run of the mill Seiko with much more detailed dial and good bracelet. One other thing worth mentioning is the delivery speed. It stated an estimation of about a week but actually arrived in two days : )

As a fan of 70’s Seiko Speedtimers, I love the look and size of this watch. Suzuki makes it affordable if you’re willing to take a JDM version with their shop warranty in place of Seiko’s mfr warranty.

The lug width is wrong. Had to re order a whole new band because they have it listed as 21 mm when it is 20 mm.
