Prolonged exposure to moisture or strong direct sunlight will eventually weaken the fabric. There is no waterproof cover available at this time. Q: will it fit a wooden 12 ft. stand

Hello James, thank you for your question! The total length of this hammock is 12 feet long, and can vary a few inches in either direction due to the fact that it is handmade, so it would be a pretty tight fit for a 12 ft stand. A set of hammock extender ropes (which would need to be purchased separately) would allow the hammock to be adjusted for a little more give when in use. Q: My Novica hammock now lists to one side and is very tight in the middle so I can no longer lie in it, how do I fix this?

I believe you may have it hung too tightly. I have strap extensions on both ends of the eyes. The top of the eyes are 65” above ground and are spaced 130” across. This suits my 160 lb body perfectly.
