I purchased this book after having it recommended by a couple that have really turned their marriage around. And while I had no plans to go anywhere from my marriage, I wondered if this book could shed some light or direction that might help me gain more satisfaction from my marriage.And as with most books based on scripture, it started out with all the reasons why things were my fault. And then the convictions started. Slowly I tried a couple of points brought out as they applied to me.We all know change is painful..and when we are the ones that need to change; sometimes it is tough to step up and make the change. I found this book to be scriptural based and full of points that as a woman of faith apply to me.I may not agree with everything in the book, but I do feel it is a great place to start to "see" our own failings and not focus so much on the "faults" of our spouses. As with most things in life, we can only be responsible for our actions, not the actions of others.

I have to give this book a grade of A+. If you do the counsel it gives it will make your home - heavenly just as God designed."Behind every great man is a great woman." If you are a man get this book for your honey. Read it first though (or get your own copy) so you can also improve your character. Many of the points can also apply for the man to do. Wives you have tremendous influence on your husband and if you actually implement the counsel in this book then you will improve yourself, your husband, and your children. Buy copies for all your children so that they can learn how to live their life when they get married.I have read many books on marriage and relationships and this in the top 1% of all marriage books - even better than many from psychologists and doctors and PhD's in marriage and relationships.Get copies for yourself, your honey, and all your married friends and family.

you would think this book is for how to inspire your husband it is but much more, to me its more how to become the wife God wants us to be. in the 6 years my husband and I have been married, he has became 3 diffrent people. when I met him he was an alcoholic, didnt finsh his high school education and depending on ppl around him to show him how to be a man, letting his family tell him its ok to drink and have a i dont care attitude... to a MAN who got his GED after 12 yrs while he worked let go of his sister and mom family just headed to bethe man God Wants him to be! this book is helping me how to let go and inspire him at the same time revealing to me his desire to be respected. it was for me because I thought I was respecting my husband but I was indirectly putting him down. after all his changes I was still fearful living in the past, and not letting my husband dream... whether it will happen or not let your man dream, its a stress reliever for him AND it inspires him to work harder to accomplish those goal

Every woman, single-married-divorced, should read this book. My daughter, two nieces and myself have read it and I have given it as a gift. Such good advice and examples of what we all do that we shouldn't, and the result of what we do is dead on. The author also explains why men do what they do, how they think and how we shouldn't react. Very easy to understand, not a complicated outline of what we should do, just plain and simple advice that you can apply to every day life. I didn't realize how controlling I was until I read this book and it really changed my relationship for the better. I don't read many self-help books but glad I read this one.

I read this book at the request from my doctor. I’m not sure why she suggested for me to read it but I have quoted from it and encouraged people who come through my counseling office to read it. I highly recommend this book to every married couple. Blessings.

I really enjoyed this book on how to inspire ones husband. It was a really quick read. I read the entire book in just a few hours. The tips were practical and wise. It was truly an excellent read.

I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a stronger marriage. It’s so inspiring and reminds us of some missing links that are so super important.

This book provides a lot of practical, biblical insight into the marriage relationship along with relevant ways to communicate effectively, finding out your husband's needs, desires and expectations. I'm just really skimming the surface, but what is most important is that the man's perspective is throughout the book. This is a great resource for reading along with your spouse or reading alone. This book will "step on toes", but it's purpose is to cultivate a healthy, lasting relationship for years to come.
