Works perfectly. There is only an on/off button with a red light for when its on. Its so tiny that doing your entire head would probably take a while but when traveling I only use it to smooth frizzies and style my bangs. It heated up quickly (about a minute). In the photos I ran it through some of my "frizzies" to just smooth it out and it worked pretty well. I never use a flat iron to curl my hair but I tried it anyways and it made some pretty tight curls. The curls in the photo is two sections of curls that I pulled my very long hair through slowly. The second photos of curls is them when I brushed them out. It is step up step down, so great for travel to other cou tries with a plug adapter.

I wanted this for traveling. The size of it was great. Unfortunately it did not work well for me because I really needed 1", but the biggest problem I had with this flat iron was that it would burn my hands if I tried to use it to curl my bangs under. I spent a long time reading reviews to find one that was not hot to the touch, & thought that this would work. It's a fail. :(

It's tiny. It gets "hot" and by hot, I mean warm. It's probably about250 deg or a little more. I have fine short have and i just flat ironed it. Already, it's starting to lose it's straightness. I'm bummed but what do you expect for a $13 flat iron the size of your hand.Pros:- It didn't pull out any of my hair out as with other cheap flat irons.- Very tiny - good for travelCons:- doesn't get hot enough to keep your hair straight for very long.- VERY TINY and slips out of your hand a lot. especially if you have longer fingers or just big hands in general.

Very cheap made, they broke the first time using, I did drop them, but the material is very brittle. I had another straightener I used & dropped for 7 yrs.

This straightener works well for my purposes, but I wish I had gotten a slightly larger one. The on/off switch was a bit difficult to find.
