Okay for the price.

I actually bought the V2 and the Grab. The V2 is for me and I got the Grab for my 10 year old son. The Grab seems to be a solid product that is simple and easy to use, no extra adjustments to fine tune the image (like the V2) but the image still seems very good. We like to use the Grab best when we're sharing content on the same phone. The fact it doesn't have a head strap makes it easier to share rather than having to mess with putting it on. So it's great for games where you need your hands anyway, or watching short videos (a few minutes or less).

So I have gone through several google cardboard vr viewers... all made of cardboard. Oddly enough the cardboard viewers feel better in your hands and on your face. The thin and stiff plastic these are made from just make it noisy and squeaky. It does work, but I can’t get past the very cheap feel of it. The button makes this metal spring squeak sound when pressed. The ridged plastic resonates this squeak very well so it’s a very well pronounced ticking springy squeaky tin type of sound.

Works well for me. I am very nearsighted and can use this headset without my glasses. I found that the lenses, which are fixed focus, were better than in most of the low cost units I've tried and the field of view was better making the experience more immersive than the others. The build seems strong and the button works. I haven't gotten the Homido app to work on my Iphone 6 plus but I avoid VR apps anyway because they often select the video resolution for you and do not allow you to change it as can be done with YouTube.

The VR headset is amazing! I switched to Homido hoping it was a better product than the last set I had and the clarity and ease of use were really refreshing!

Crap product, maybe OK for a child but why would you give your child a $700 phone to play with? No strap, must be held to the face at all times, poor quality, a product to own briefly between the Chinese factory and the land fill. Not worth the bother.

I received my Homido Grab today and I’m blown away. The design is sleek & incredibly light. The lens are very sharp and give amazing viewing experience. I use the Grab for demonstrations & it is easy to show customers the power of mobile VR quickly & without complication. I ordered my Grab from the officially Homido store for peace of mind as the company has a solid history of quality in the VR World. This way I’m not taking chances on a fly by night vendor. I highly recommend the Homido Grab & will purchase more for my company & as gifts :)

The videos are not really sharp when played. Even if your phone and the video are both 1080 full HD, it is displayed no better than 480p on this VR device. Bad, cheap lens is probably the culprit. Meh, 25 bucks. What can you expect. But my 4 y.o. loves it.
