Black College Football Xperience: The Doug Williams Edition - Xbox 360

Loved it!

It’s kind of like playing the All Pro 2k8. It’s fun but at times feels a bit clunky. It’s a fun presentation and I wish that this experience would have been put into a more updated gaming generation.It would be nice if Amazon got rid of the racist crap in the reviews though.

The Good:* Great history tool, which includes a virtual museum.* Great pregame and halftime show.* The in-game crowd makes it feel like you are at the game.The Bad:* Glitchy, buggy and feels like an unfinished game.* Play-by-play is out of sync.* Makes it feel like you are playing a game from 20 years ago.The Bottom Line:No doubt that this game was designed to teach you about black college football and it certainly done that. Unfortunately it feels as if by the time they finished this game, they said to themselves: "Oh we forgot to include the actual football into this game." Too bad I don't have my Madden 93 disc anymore, because I swear it feels almost like it(watered down version, too) when it comes to gameplay. This game only has two penalties: Delay of Game and Offside...that's it! The players keep repeating same trash talk lines over and over and over. Player models are very robot-like and show no personality in terms of skill. While the presentation is great, the gameplay is certainly not. Even the developers knew this, which is why this game was delayed several times in order not to compete with other superior releases.

Not quite as good as EA Ncaa Football but there heading in the right direction. Adding all the division 2 HBC teams was a huge bonus.

It’s a great game to be 10 years old. I wish this product would have gotten more support. There are a few glitches but I think anyone who is a college football fan , would enjoy this game. The bands, music , cheers from the crowd are the best

Waiting forever to buy this game because of the negative views. Glad I bought it ad it turned out to be a collectors item. It's not everyday that games based on African American related sports are being produced and for a sophomore attempt this one wasn't bad. I'm a big fan of the unique half time show ( which what makes this game stand apart from the old NCAA football series) that plays a little like Guitar Hero but with a larger band! The game play is above average, but surely enough to keep your attention for more than just a season.

Old game, but fun to play with HBCUs

I mean. What a game. Let's be honest if you're buying this game you know what you're getting into. You're not buying this game because you want a Madden experience. You're buying this game because the name of this game and the game itself is just hilarious. And he gameplay falls right in line with that. It's awful but honestly would you want it any other way? Also the only football game with a half time, guitar hero-like, mini game, which is pretty impossible to master. But seriously this is everything I expected and more. 5/5.
