It is 2-ply Thread, a 100% long-staple, High Quality, Durable Egyptian Cotton Thread, perfect for hand and machine sewing of all types including: - general sewing - hand or machine piecing and applique - quilting - embroidery - heirloom machine sewing - lace design - home décor The thread has very little, if any lint, so your seams lie flat and you are able to achieve very accurate seam allowances. You will find it is also great in the bobbin. Another feature is the unique locking spool. You twist the end cap to remove it to get to the thread end. Then replace the cap and begin sewing.
