Reflex Rotating Mailbox Bracket

This is so wonderful! As a senior citizen, I don't have to fear going to my mailbox and chance being run down by a vehicle. It swings around so I don't ever have to leave my yard to go into the street.

This is exactly what we needed next to the busiest two-lane road on this side of the county! We no longer have to stand with our back to traffic twelve inches from cars whizzing by at 70mph.

Need to add a filler between mailbox bottom and the mount otherwise mailbox holes would not line up with opening on mount (this was a pain in the butt). Otherwise installation went fairly smoothly. Mailbox turns easily to access... seems sturdy - time will tell.

This is nice when it rains in the Pacific Northwest, because I don't have to stand in the curbside puddle/pond to get the mail. It has some kind of hex-head (if I counted correctly) screws to mount it, and it comes with hex-head screw bit, but that bit is too short to get down through the holes in the plate--so you need to buy your own extension shaft to use that hex-head screw bit. Seems stupid to not use a regular screw head, since the screw head is absolutely unseeable when installed. Or provide a hex-head bit that will reach the head when installing. The mount not only swivels--it also rocks, up and down! Open the mailbox and it tips down like it's about to fall off. Granted, I have a big mailbox, so it would surely be a bit less tipsy with a standard mailbox. Still, the only good thing I can say about it is that it swivels, and has well-functioning swivel-stops every 90 degrees. That's what I bought if for, so...

Well thought out design. Clear instructions. Special square head screws for the anchor came with a square head bit in case needed. I live on a busy road and it is great to rotate the box to get mail.
