Citrus MagicOdor Absorbing Solid Air Freshener, Pure Linen, 11.5-Pound

i have this in my unfinished basement. i have 3 adult cats and 4 kittens and 6 litter boxes. i scoop daily, so nothing sits around long enough to create an odor, but i wanted something that would sort of waft through the air with a fresh citrusy smell. but this is quite expensive for what it does, or doesn't, do. if you stick your nose right up to it, it smells AH-MAY-ZING! i just wish it were stronger & would permeate the room more "potently" (is that even a word?!). and it seems to "disappear" (reduce in size/evaporate) quickly. i'd buy it regularly if it were half the price, but it just doesn't do a good enough job to warrant the expense. too bad because i do like the smell when i sniff it up close.

I was worried about buying an entire tub of freshener -- would it be overkill? But it works fine in my somewhat stuffy storage room. The scent is released slowly. Now I'm greeted with a pleasant fragrance when I enter.

Love this stuff. I buy these for my unfinished basement that often smells a little musty. I’ve also started using it in my mudroom where I have my litter boxes. I think it really helps without being overwhelming. Big and heavy, so know what you are buying. However, much more cost effective than the much smaller ones.

I've used both this and the citrus fragranced one in abandoned homes with severe odor problems. While these can't solve your odor problems alone, they do help "capture" bad odor significantly, and make the surrounding air more bearable while you work to eliminate the source of the odor problems. They definitely help abate permanent damage while you work on problem-solving.

Are use this for my basement, which typically has a musty smell like Most basements. I love the clean citrus smell, and this last for nearly a year. Just imagine having a clean smelling basement every time you walk down there.

I placed it in my basement. The initial opening was great smelling, but after a couple of hours, you could not smell it at all. I am very disappointed in this product. Maybe it would work in a small closed closet...

For the first 4 days, it got the weed smell. But after that it didn't. We have to shake the bucket often for the smell to start working again. It kinda defeats the purpose of having it.
