Good colour for use but end is a bit stabby
I've had a few menstrual cups and love the flexibility they give but wanted a darker colour as they tend to stain over time. This works perfectly, looks a good quality and is simple to use. However, the long end is a lot wider and less curved than other cups I've used making it uncomfortable in use so you might want to snip it off!

Brilliant once you get used to it
I've wanted to try a menstrual cup for a long time now and finally got round to it with this one and it's a game changer. As you can imagine, there's a bit of a knack to using it properly and getting the best out of it.The first few times I tried it felt uncomfortable and I was getting leaks with it but over time it's become a lot easier to use and now is way more comfortable than a tampon for me. Like a tampon, making sure you insert it high enough stops it being uncomfortable.I have really heavy periods so am constantly changing products usually, sometimes every hour or two for the first couple of days, to try to avoid leaks. I'd also have to get up in the night to change tampons too and would always need to wear some kind of pad with tampons on a night to give double protection.I still use a liner on a night with this cup to be extra secure but the difference is massive. Once in place properly you can leave the cup in for easily up to 12 hours without changing it as the capacity is so much more than a tampon and it's just non toxic silicone so no risk of toxic shock syndrome like with tampons left in for too long. This cup has been brilliant and I would really recommend it for anyone with heavy periods as it has totally changed what I feel I can do and wear during my period. Leaving it in all night without the fear of leaks is particularly amazing. I've also worn it whilst playing sport with no problem at all.I first looked at menstrual cups because of their eco credentials and their ability to cut down on your use of single use plastics but actually just their design and every day use is so much more convenient for me than normal period products.I'd also say if you're worried about these cups being messy, yes they can be a little messy but because you can leave them in for a lot longer than tampons, I find that you're less likely to need to do anything with them when you're out and about in public bathrooms anyway.Definitely give them a try if you're not sure!

Good value, not for beginners
This was the first cup i had bought and I found it quite hard for first time use. The stem is great for helping to get the cup out, better than other cups I have subsequently bought. Better instructions needed about removing the cup, I did have to watch a few you tube videos to get more comfortable with using the cup but after a few tries it does get easier, I would recommend looking at 'folding' video's to find one that works for you.

First time user
First time user. Was pretty easy to insert using the fold one corner over technique. The photos are a bit misleading as the tab looks rounded. However it is a flat tab which can feel a little uncomfortable if inserted a certain way. Going to stick with this one and see how it goes though. Very pretty bag too so inconspicuous to carry around.

Better than the leading brand
The Folc Menstrual Cup is comparable to a famous leading brand in quality. In fact, its design is better.Blood tends to stain silicone after prolonged use, even after careful cleaning. That's why older cups made with clear silicone look old and yellowish in time. With the clever graphite coloring of the Folc Menstrual cup, your "unmentionable" item will look the same for a long time. The "tail" at the end of the cup is a little longer than what I'm used to, and it's more convenient this way since I could safely insert it deeper and take it out without having to dig in with my fingers which makes for a cleaner insertion and removal. We aren't all the exact sizes in the length of the vagina, and so some might feel the tail, and some would not. Menstrual cups are not meant to be felt when worn.If it's uncomfortable, you might want to try another cup because you will be using it every month. It's best to consult your gynecologist for suitable cup size and type. Having the correct cup is worth it in the long run. It is pocket and eco-friendly and prevents rashes and toxic shock syndrome from tampons. For myself, I am happy with the Folc Cup.I use the large size as I'm a heavy bleeder, and all I need is to empty the cup and chuck it back in every four hours on heavy days. You will feel the need to urinate as the cup gets heavier, or so in my experience. And for the start and end of the period, I usually just leave it in for twelve hours at most.

Not for me
Reason for choosing this:I've been curious about these for a while as I find pads uncomfortable and I struggle to use tampons due to dryness. I've heard that these should be easier than tampons as they aren't drying and that's 0 risk of toxic shock syndrome. Additionally, these are small and easy to store; easy to clean, a lot more eco-friendly as it's reusable, and this one comes in a cute storage box. As I'd never tried one before, I opted for the small size. I'm glad I did, as I found it quite stiff and difficult to position. My main issue was, I really struggled to remove it. The tab at the bottom wasn't big enough to grasp and the lubricant I had to use to insert it made it very difficult to grip. When I could get a grip on it, it felt like it was stuck - he thick/stiff rubber rim, while not as difficult to insert as expected, made it very painful to pull out as I wasn't able to fold or manoeuvre it very well. I don't think I'll be using it again. It may be due to my inexperience, but I definitely wouldn't recommend this one for beginners. I give it 2 stars just because due to inexperience, I can't say how it compares to similar products and I do love the concept.
