LOVE Bravado
We love our Bravado Spice sauces. They are so full of flavor and each has their own degree of heat. The Mr. Loves VERY spicy while me, I like some heat but I don't go for quite as hot as him and the beauty of Bravado is they have something for everyone's likings. The Crimson is my favorite hands down. Not too spicy but full of flavor!!

Better options for the price
Not a fan. This sauce has a bit of an identity crisis. It's a very vinegar-forward sauce similar to those of the southeastern united states - but it's quite bitter. My guess would be that the Arbols were over-toasted. For a red jalapeno-based sauce, organic harvest (made by gunslinger) is still by far my favorite. Vine-ripening jalapenos to red is a time consuming process, so I understand the price of this sauce, but seriously Bravado, work on your recipe. For me, if a sauce is going to use dried Arbols, the Arbol flavor should be upfront, the peppers need to be perfectly toasted to avoid bitterness, and the sauce should use citrus as the primary acid instead of vinegar. Don't get me wrong, I love vinegar-based hot sauces, but there are much better options on the market for far less money. The sauce tends to separate, and my bottle had a layer of oil on the top. Not that I am a proponent of emulsifiers in my sauces, but the oil is a bit off putting, and the only place I can imagine it came from is the arbol toasting. My advice to Bravado: ditch this recipe, make a fantastic red jalapeno sauce, and work on a different recipe using Arbol.

If you are expecting a vinegar like hot sauce (tabasco
If you are expecting a vinegar like hot sauce (tabasco, franks) you will not like this. The flavors of the peppers do come through but at first you get a very watered down taste followed by the spice flavors and then the spicy bite. For me it tastes like a watered down hot sauce. If you low low sodium and almost no tang this is for you. Not the case with me. I will not buy this again. As far as heat 1 to 10 I would give it a 5.

Love this sauce, I have a bottle at home and one at work. Haven't found much that this doesn't make better.

The best way I can describe this sauce is deceptive
The best way I can describe this sauce is deceptive. It has the flavor of a serious scorpion pepper sauce but like 30% of the heat. Absolutely delicious.
