It's nice, light and quite.

This does the job! When renovating our living room my husband and myself required multiple types of saws, this was the best bang for our buck. I read the suggestion of buying a more quality blade, and am in agreement with previous reviewers that this is the one drawback to this circular saw. However the safety features are nice and as a novice I appreciated the laser pointer to stay in a straight line. My husband was annoyed with the one safety feature as he had to hold it up while cutting to avoid touching the board

Saws fine but weighs a lot.

I like this skill saw. I love the laser light for precision cutting. It's easy to use and very accurate cutting. I'm glad that I did purchase this saw. It was a good price as well.

Husband needed a replacement saw, this one is great and he loves the laser light as a guide!

I had to look up an independent video to even figure out how to install the blade. The diagram was both incomplete and misleading. One I figured it out, I found I simply could not physically hold the button and the blade cover in the right position at the same time.I had to get a second person to assist, and even then we couldn’t get the screw to budge. Used a lever and a mallet. Still no good.What use is the damn saw if I can’t install the blade? I will be returning this.-------------------------Avid followed up with me promptly and sent a replacement saw. We still found the bolt was on extremely tight, but a neighbor was able to remove it using an impact wrench. Once the saw blade was installed, we were perfectly happy with the product. I am very happy with the customer service I received and sincerely appreciate their attention to the issue.

Great product for the DIY projects!

The included blade is cheap but that's expected. The saw cuts great, after getting a good blade I cut over 200 boards the first week with no problems.
