We bought this same rug in the same size twice, a week apart as we liked the first one so much but wanted it to be bigger, so planned to put them end to end. The first one was quite thick with well finished edges. The second one is about half the thickness of the first and the ends of the rug are just cut, with no finishing. The two rugs look notably different next to eachother. The first one would be a 5 star review for sure, but this second one only a 2-3 star. I would not have bought a second had the first one we bought looked like this second one. Now we have mismatched rugs and it's too difficult to return.

So far, I really love this rug. It’s great in a busy thoroughfare in my kitchen that gets a lot of use. I like that there is variation in the coloring (all neutral) because if a crumb or stain happens it’s not obvious.

This is exactly what I wanted. The rug has a distinct smell and I bought it for inside my home. I gave it a good spray with Febreze and oder was gone. Looks great. Good price.

I was looking at purchasing a similar rug from another site. This was was half the price and I decided to take a chance. I layered it with a smaller rug on top and It’s huge. I got the 10x14. Very thick and heavy. Directions were included on how to roll and let sit for 24-48 hrs. There was a slight earthy smell that was gone the next day. I love it. It looks great. I highly recommend.

I ordered the 8 x10 and read the reviews about smell, figuring it would go away but after a week it is still there. A bit less but still there. I'm hoping it will dissipate over time. Really like the look of the rug.

Size color craftsman ship

The rug is soft and pretty. Slightly darker than in the photos. Would love it but it literally smells like dog food. It’s awful. I’m not sure I will be able to keep it due to the awful smell.

Beautiful addition to my home.

I bought this because I wanted a natural fibre runner and needed this width, which was hard to find. It took way longer to ship than initially stated. When it arrived it was WAY darker in colour than the image shown in the amazon ad. I understand this can be the case as it is natural fibres, but it did not achieve the look I was hoping for. A lot of the loops have began to pull already and it looks untidy. It sheds mud and fibres and smells like a mud-flat. I installed it anyway because it took so long to get it and I was hoping it would grow on me, but every time I step on a hard bark piece in it, I feel both annoyed and disappointed at once. If you're hoping for something that looks like the ad photo, I would look elsewhere.

the pics the reviewer "be careful with this product" are spot onthe rug is very rustic & rough looking. the jute is soft, but the appearance is not what I was expecting. it is very very chunky. there are thick ropes intertwined with thinner ones. there are lumps & frayed pieces. this is the way it is meant to look. it would look great in certain homes, but doesn't suit mine. on hard wood or tile it would look better. on top of carpet as I have, it was too chunky. in industrial-modern-mid-century, more masculine, or very boho-hippie or outdoor settings it would also be successful. i wasn't expecting it to be so thick & chunky looking. grateful for Amazon return policy.

This is softer than it looks and almost feels plush. I was initially disappointed as there was one 'loop' riding proud above the surface of the carpet, but it has flattened down......neutral colour goes well with my wood floors and cabinetry, and seems to collect dirt well as an entrance hall mat........have to pick it up for the Roomba though......but a good shaking on the porch while the Roomba does the floor beneath works well!

Compre esta alfombra de yute, con reservas por las reseñas que lei, pero el precio fue permisible para experimentar, quería una alfombra de yute de buena calidad, con trenzado estético, y esta parecía esto. Fue grata la sorpresa recibirla, los materiales todos naturales (hasta suaves) y con muy buena calidad de terminados. Obviamente por el tipo de material se debe barrer y aspirar de forma regular, pero es parte de una alfombra de este tipo. Precio/calidad excelente!

Nice tones, and texture is softer than expected. Feels good walking on carpet in bare feet.
