Very nice , today 6-8-2023 installed in a camper I custom built ,it controls my Propane gas leak dector, when the gas is connected,used, testing with soapy water spray, turns it on off to save on its own 12 vdc electric brake , brake away battery, these also control 12 vdc led lighting, trailer alarm surveillance system, I recommend them,

Exact replacement for the original switch. Easy to install

I picked up the 3/8 crimps from an auto parts store for around 3.50 so don't be worried about that. You need to plan on the depth of the switch. To flush mount it you will need about 3/8 to a 1/2 inch clearance (possibly a bit more) behind the switch to clear the posts and the back of the switch. I used a surface mounted switch box and a wall switch plate (modified) under this switch to give it the depth for mounting it in my camper without having to carve into the wall. You could do something similar with a wood block or etc. I gave it four stars instead of five because it did not come with hardware to mount it so you will need to provide your own screws, it did match the other switches on my 2015 Grand Design 380TH.

Product came as advertised. However, on of the little tabs that secures the faceplate was broken. Better packing by the manufacturer would eliminate this. Amazon’s packaging was fine.Nothing I can’t fix and it’s still usable. I would still recommend this switch.

Used for van garage area LED lights.Only issue for me was that the male terminals are a smaller size than standard.

I’m using it for a signal toggle switch. No comment if it can handle a big load for an extended period of time. Regular RV switches tend not to last too long.

Big pros and cons on this switch. First, they match in with 99.9% of the RV's out there so in that regard, they are a nice RV switch. I will never use them again, however, because they do not lay flush.If you remove the top plate you have the switch portion. On the back, the side facing the wood, the plastic protrudes about 1/8 of an inch. Maybe I missed it, maybe there is a spacer I could use, but from my experience on this switch, if you placed it against the wood and put the cover on, you'd have almost a 1 /8" open gap around the unit and that to me is unacceptable. I bought these for an upgrade project on a friends RV and had to mortar out the wood to allow for the protrusion.
