Perfect introduction to Delta Green
Let's make one thing clear: you can find this same product for free from the creators of Delta Green, so why pay some cash for it?These are my opinions on the matter.1. Exceptional quality. I am not sure how exactly to describe this product's quality. Of course, the material and art are top notch, but it has to do also with how it is laid out. It has this 90's X-files dossier kind of layout. It is not like the pictures and drawings are the focus of the book, but rather, how everything is put together in a way that gives that sense of an old, secret document. The core rulebooks have this same design, and it works wonders, but I wasn't expecting they maintained this same level of product for a quickstart. If you are into only digital products, it is ok, this book won't disappoint, but for those who like the printed stuff, this book will be a pleasant addition to any book collection.2. Great way to introduce the rules. Yeah, many things are left out, like the character creation (book has a set or premade characters), the equipment section and many aspects of the agencies available. Of course, almost no background is covered here. This is an essential quickstart, it has the rules to engage in a short mission and check if you like it or not. The rules that are covered here are the core of the game, so by playing with this, you will understand pretty much every core idea of the game. It is well presented, organized and hints at the rest of the rules in case you have questions.3. Great intro adventure. This is easily a 2 session adventure (maybe a single long one), but it hits all the right marks to introduce the players to the world of Delta Green. There are many handouts and resources available online that only enrich the experience, but truly, the simplicity and the scope of the mission at the beginning is quite welcoming, as the story unfolds to show the darkness of the world. No surprise this has garnered some prizes in the past.I purchased the core books in the past, and wanted to try it out with my friends with whom I have played many games, but we never played a horror or investigation game. When planning ahead, many people over different groups on internet pointed me to this product and explained it was the best introduction i could ask for. We had a session 0 to create characters and set up the type of game. We juust had session 1 where they started the investigation. At this point, absolutely nothing strange has happened and the players told me at the end of that session that they loved the game, they are glued to the story and they know some supernatural stuff is around the corner, but cannot imagine what. They said that if the game continues like this, they hope we can play at the very least a few more missions. That my players loved the adventure and rules so far is proof enough for me of the quality of the product.Besides, it is very cheap.

The name says it, this is all you need to know.
Arguably too much $ without the Handlers screen but it's a great product. All you'll need to run casual Delta Green games including a great short scenario included. Supplement with free scenarios from Fairfield Project or make up your own, you could use these rules forever without buying the full books if you like to run rules-light (rulings, not rules!) but the game is so cool you'll eventually want the books anyway.

Perfect intro to a great RPG setting
Great introduction to the Delta Green rpg. Includes a hard 4 panel GM screen with tons of quick reference info, a half dozen pre-gen characters, full character creation guide, full base gameplay rules, and a great introductory scenario.

Outdated
A bit disappointed because I received the outdated version of the guide (which, in hindsight, I probably should have followed up on) and it lacks a Handler's Screen. I didn't realise from the description that it meant that it's also available... in a different bundle (not the one you are purchasing here).Otherwise - Delta Green - possibly my favourite RPG system! Highly recommend```NEED TO KNOW is also available with a sturdy Handler's Screen for your game table.```I will have to order it again through a different retailer

Basic but some great art.
I would pay the cost just to support Arc Dream, but was not impressed with this item. It states that this is a hard cover which is half right. The book itself is soft cover and has limited content compared to other volumes. The screen is helpfull for basic use and has great art. I was looking for additional mind blowing content which is the normal meat and potatoes of any delta green product but found just the basics.

Great way to dip your toes
Used this to try out the game, decided I loved it. The screen it comes with is super useful.

Buyer beware: outdated!
While it's nice having a printed version of this pamphlet, you need to know that this is 2016 version, which means some of the rules on character creation and playing are outdated! Get your self acquainted with latest PDF from the publisher, it's free.

The Essentials
A handy way to have the core aspects of the system condensed in a light table book.
