Its a surpringly good buy for me.
I have had Oral-B tooth brushes for about ten years and the most expensive in teh range. I mentioned this to my hygienist who advised me that a cheaper mode would do as well without all the gadgets which go with it. My last toothbrush had a recommended retail price of £800. This was a tenth of that.I had tried Oral-B thinking that with a circular motion it would get rid of my plaque and still stimulate my gums. it did but this Philips Sonicare with its up and down motion removed more plaque. Ok no app or gadget for it but at 30 second intervals it does shudder to tell you to move on to a different side or level of your teeth. That’s good.Instructions are basic and do not tell you what the two brush heads are for, but with a quick Google I found G2 for normal clean and W for whitening. The toothbrush has three settings, Clean, gum care and whitening. So I alternate between the whitening and clean morning and evening with the respective brush heads.Took me a while to get confident with the up and down notion to teh brush head to the rear of my teeth but plaque removal is better. All in all pleased I change.

Great brush at an affordable price!
With so many electric toothbrushes on the market at a range of prices, it can be a bit of a mine field in choosing but i'm happy with this purchase in terms of the different cleaning modes and battery life. The brush heads are also reasonably priced. Overall would recommend!

Solid comfortable toothbrush but some issues
This is a solid well made electric toothbrush. It’s better than the cheaper Sonicare brushes. Fits in the hand comfortably and feels easy to use. It has various timing modes and can take different styles of heads allowing you to clean the way you want to. It’s easy to clean the top of the base unit too. You can’t go wrong really. My main issue is that the rubbery housing for the metal contact which the heads snap on to wears down after time meaning that the contact becomes wobbly and unsteady. It makes the toothbrush noisy and less effective. Mine only lasted 15 months. The brush is also pricey when at RRP. Feels more like a £50 brush than an £80 one.Overall a decent toothbrush but watch out for damage and try to get it cheap.

Not as good as my previous standard philips sonicare toothbrush
Only worked properly for about 9 months and then started vibrating internally and making loud noises. Disappointed as I like Philips products and always take good care. Will be going back to a standard model

Good clean
Good toothbrush. I like the fact that it alerts you to when you are applying too much pressure and teeth feel very clean after using.
