Lightweight clock, will stay on the wall with a nail in the drywall, don't need to find a stud.Looks like nicely painted wood with glass covering the face but it's all plastic, which is what I wanted for a bathroom wall- much lighter. Silent, keeps time well, and has the thermometer. The face looks antique-y which works well in my old house.

We put this is the bathroom that has the walk-in shower, where I’m pretty sure the humidity has been killing previous clocks. I was surprised and impressed with how great it looks! I’m going to buy another of these for the garage. The numbers are big and clear enough to see from a distance, and the clock has a sort of retro vibe without looking old-fashioned. For the price, it’s a great deal.

Sadly the clock did not fare well in our pool area. Even though it was semi- sheltered, the exposure caused the face to warp and so the hands wouldn’t move properly.

This is the second of these clocks I've purchsed. Put the blue on the patio and it's lovely. Ordered this 'green' one for my craft room but its color is more a teal than the green shown in the picture. I will keep it because other than the color it's a pleasing clock, but I am disappointed in the color. Maybe I'll try painting it.

I am editing my first review from a couple of weeks ago to lower the rating from two stars to one star. Zero stars would be more appropriate put the rating system doesn't allow for that. Despite what the add says on Amazon, condensation does get into this clock. It continues to run slow and it may not simply be the batteries as I previously thought. It may well be that this mechanism is defective. The whole point of a clock is to keep accurate time, not simply to look good. So far, this clock appears to be junk and, as I said before, I would never buy this clock or purchase from this seller/manufacturer again. Buyer beware!This clock runs batteries down quickly. After only a few days it begins to run slower and slower and I have to put in a new battery. I've been using quality batteries, Duracell, but it doesn't make any difference. I would not buy this clock again or recommend it to anyone unless the seller or manufacture has a solution for this problem. It is ridiculous to have to replace the battery every 7 to 10 days or use only rechargeable batteries. We have the clock mounted on a fence outdoors. I bought it on June 10 and the return option expired on July 10 but it took that long to figure out that the problem was not weak or inferior quality batteries.
