SLAP YA MAMALouisiana Style Cajun Dinner Mix Variety Pack, 8 Ounce Boxes, 2 Jambalaya, 2 Gumbo, 2 Red Beans and Rice

I used to live in Texas and I LOVED eating each of the dishes in the different boxes shown. I like the Jambalaya the most, but still really enjoy Red Rice and Beans and Gumbo as well. When I ordered the product, I didn't get each of the promised contents. I only received 6 boxes of Red Rice and Beans. Don't get me wrong, I love the stuff. However, you should never have to get something contrary to what you were told you were purchasing. This is false advertisement because I did not get two of each. I received 6 of one, and not even the one I really wanted most.

Love this brand for Red Beans and Rice. My wife decide to add spicy hot sausage because I like spicy. I usually like things that tend to the hot side like chili peppers from New Mexico. BUT, this was over the top hot. Gotta tell you, I finished it all. You might want to use a milder sausage in your recipie 😅!

I stock up on this anytime I think about it. I throw rotisserie chicken and chopped kielbasa in and have a quick and hearty dinner. It does get a bit spicy for me, so I usually cook up some white rice at the same time and mix in after everything is done cooking. This helps tame the spiciness. I love this stuff!

This stuff is great. Add lightly sauted peppers, onions, and celery. The "Z" variety isn't bad, and is more readily available, but Slap Ya Mama is the bomb...

Best tasting Red Beans and Rice mix that I have found. Highly recommended.
