Red KapMen's Slash Pocket Jacket

Love the look! Seems to be good quality. Nice brass YKK zipper. I’m 5-7 165lbs, and a medium fit perfectly. Mine needed a good ironing as it had some serious wrinkles- make sure to start with low heat and increase as needed- the synthetic material will “burn” fairly easily if the iron is too hot, in the form of a shiny imprint. This jacket is pretty warm- good for near freezing up to 60s.

These coats are solid and warm, perfect if you turn wrenches or do alot of maintenance. The only drawback is that they are oversized which is strange nowadays as most companies cut corners but not Red Kap. I use the 2X even though I'm a big guy. The 3X is huge. So if you're around 6 foot and 200+ lbs the 2X should work fine.

Bought this as a work jacket in the auto repair business. It seems well made with a strong zipper, is adjustable at waist and wrist but is a bit lighter than I'd like for outdoor cold weather use.

This is the best lightweight jacket you can buy. The best at being light but keeping your warm. Most automotive shops have this jacket with their logo/badge on it and their uniform color. This jacket could use an inside pocket or two, but that's not a legitimate reason to complain. This jacket is good for work and for casual wear. It resists dust and oil better than any other jacket I have tried. It also looks great when washed and washes easily in the washer. It is a polyester blend, so it does not shrink. Like all clothes, I wash before wearing, and I recommend you do for this because it will soften the cotton portion of the material. It also will remove any chemical smells to make the jacket obviously smell better. I could sleep in this jacket it is that comfortable. I cannot recommend this jacket enough. If it had inside pockets, then this would be the perfect jacket. I would even wear it in the summer for my EDC if it had inside pockets.

This is my new favorite jacket, I wear it every day, everywhere. It's comfortable, warm but not stuffy. Seems durable, it will probably last several years. Looks sharp too. Zipper front, button cuffs, in case that wasn't obvious. Pair it with a good beanie and you've got a winning combination.Just know that it runs slightly large. I wear medium everything and ordered this in a medium as well. It's noticeably loose; not baggy but loose. I recommend a size smaller than your shirt size unless you wear your shirts really tight. Not docking a star for the sizing though - it's a bit large but still wearable.I'll probably buy another at some point. Looking for a good jacket? This is it. Get it.

For the price point it delivers more value than may first appear. The shoulders fit my shoulders quite well though the body is loose around the middle. I'd say if you have long arms you should order a size larger than you would wear normally. All in all a satisfactory jacket.

This jacket looks and feels great. It holds up to work and play. The only issue I had was the zipper stop broke off and the zipper pull went missing. I had not been especially rough with the jacket and I have never had that happen on anything else that I own, so I was pretty surprised. I don't know if it was a fluke or if they somehow have a cheaper version of a zipper on this thing, but it was a real letdown. I still like this jacket better than those offered by some much more expensive competitors, but the zipper thing is an issue. Maybe I just got unlucky, so I would still say this jacket is worth taking a chance on.As for me, I like the jacket enough that I may try to have someone put on a new and heavier zipper.

Great jacket for use in the spring or autumn not warm enough to use in very cold weather as the lining is not thick also not water proof. Fits well doesn’t fade in sunlight and good value for money.

Jacket fit is perfect and as expected. To those reviewers claiming arms are too big—> it’s a men’s work jacket, not a piece fashion clothing. It’s made to work in so skinny arm-ed, bird chested people may want to look elsewhere. If your proportions are normal, it’ll fit just right, just follow the chart. Large fits me just right, I’m 185# and 5’-10 1/2”.I’ll probably buy another whenever I can, it’s a good deal for a quality piece of work clothing.
