My Labrador has eaten his dry and wet food from this Outward Hound slow feeder twice a day for over 4 years. Unfortunately the first bowl slipped off the sink and chipped off the edge of the bowl.No longer safe to use, I ordered a replacement, exactly the same but different colour and arrived the next day before lunchtime!It feels the same weight and is identical in design.It’s so durable and relatively easy to clean. I use a dishwashing brush to get into the groove’s.I make sure to stand it up on its side so that the water drain’s out.Would thoroughly recommend for a hungry large dog. Adds a couple more minutes to an otherwise instant feed. He has to use his tongue to scoop out the food. And that takes him longer.It’s solid in construction and doesn’t move much. Just a little with the enthusiasm of 35kg pushing it along.It’s a shame the first one broke, as it was as pristine as the day it was delivered.

It is brilliant slowed my puppy down from 2 minutes to 28 minutes feeding time at first. Now after a few weeks he still eats for a good 15 minutes :). We have a few different bowls so each food have different puzzle to work on. The only thing is he has chewed the bowls it could be more harder plastic.

Bought the large/regular bowl for our 11 week old Labrador puppy who gulped down her food so quickly (in a minute) that she ended up with hiccups. Has definitely worked, first time it took her 20 minutes to eat everything, she worked out after 2 or 3 feeds how best to get the food out but still it is a good 10 minutes to eat everything. Would highly recommend especially since it is sturdy and although she circles it to eat, it stays put on the tiled floor.

It does not work very well with dogs who are eating fast at all.The average time for my dog to eat 400grams of raw food in this bowl is probably less than 3/4 mins.So I do not think this item serves the purpose of eating slowly I am afraid.And the features to rate are not referring to the use of the item if I have to be honest.

This bowl is just what I needed for my 6 month old labrador. The bowl is bigger than I expected, and it also stays in place while the dog eats. I highly recommend!
