Soularge Women's Winter Plus Size Sherpa Lined Coats with Detachable Hood

I'm submitting this review because even though I had to return this coat, it was one of the most well-made jackets I have ever touched, let alone tried on. The only reason I returned it: Too heavy for Central Florida winters. I need a mid-warmth coat. If you live in cold climate, this coat is so warm. My kids wanted to know if I was planning a trip to Alaska (lol). It's too bad for little old Florida me that it was such a heavy garment.Listen folks if you are in cold country, this coat would work nicely. I was very impressed and wanted to let vendor know my opinion. The lining is soft. The zippers are heavy duty. You can remove fur trim separately, has pocket warmers etc. I highly recommend for colder climate. Not bad for under a hundred dollars. PS: I ordered up one size because size reviews were mixed. It fit perfectly.

This is surprisingly good material. It’s warm. The pockets are deep. The cut of the shoulders are sharp and neat. The hood covers your full head well and tunnels your face. The jacket hangs a little passed your butt. If you are a big breasted woman or plan to wear a bulky sweater underneath (which quite honestly I don’t think you would need with this jacket because the jacket is snug, and it has a Sherpa lining) I would highly recommend getting one size larger.

This coat is very warm and looks high-quality once you freshen it up a bit. As other reviewers said, it arrived very wrinkled. I was able to get it looking neat with a fabric steamer. I also used a hairbrush on the faux fur trim to fluff it up and it made all the difference.It runs small! Based on the charts, I should have ordered a 2X, but I listened to other reviewers and ordered a size up. The 3X is JUST big enough. If I put on one more layer (like a sweater) it would be too tight.It'a bulky around the collar. The standup collar (the part that the removeable hood zips into) is really bulky and tall in back, which can be annoying. It kind of pushes against the base of your head - especially when you're sitting in the car.Finally, like another reviewer, I think the "Soularge" brand name is just crappy marketing and almost dissuaded me from buying this coat. I literally removed the brand label from the inside of the jacket. It was super easy to remove by picking out the stitches with a seam ripper - can't even tell there was a label there.

No joke, this coat wraps you in the thickest bubble of warmth and comfort. It far surpassed my expectations! The fur around the hood gives it a significant amount of extra weight, and the hood is deep - blocking the elements.I purchased this jacket for warmth, but the style is on point, as well. It doesn't make me feel huge or frumpy. There is a draw string around the waist to cinch up the coat to give you added shape.This coat is my new favorite winter accessory. If you're thinking of buying it, just do it!

I really love this coat. It’s very well made. The material is heavy but I don’t mind since that’s what’s keeping out the cold. I’m 5’5 280lb with a large bust and I got a 3X. The fit is nice and I like that there’s a pocket on the inside of the coat. The sturdy material will hopefully last me the next few years. I don’t like the brand name Soularge though.

Bought this for a trip to VA during Christmas a couple of years ago & it's still as great as the first day I bought it.

Quality of coat is great, looks well made and warm. However, size chart is useless.Ordered this coat as a Christmas gift..... Measured carefully, picked the size up from chart and still, too small.I understand that a size 10 varies from brand to brand, but an inch is an inch, a cm is a cm worldwide. Get the size charts right !!!!Can't tell you how disappointed I am, not the first time this has happened to me, but is the first time for gifting.

This coat fits well and has a nice weight to it - it will keep you warm. I am tall and it fit me very well, in the arms and at the thigh area. Easy to put on and off and the hoodie fit me well too. Very happy with this!

This coat is beyond warm, best purchase ever. Only thing I dont like is that the hood flops forward down over your face, but when you zip up the coat and button the hood together it stays in place.Highly recommended

Very warm. But, it came with some weird padding in the sleeves. I did’t like that.

Bought this one, but once I got it was too small, definitely upsize… get one size bigger!I didn’t bother returning cause my teenager needed a coat too! Now we match!

Linda likes it and it looks sharp, quality looks like it is there, loves the pockets which are useful for outdoor life in Newfoundland.
