Viking Drinking Horn Mug With Stand 12oz Game Of Thrones Playing Cards included

Id like to say i bought this after reading all the negative reviews and with buying another horn, it turns out this is larger then a 12 oz horn i got and cheaper and came with playing cards, the chipping is on the outside gives it a real bone feel, after beeswaxing this horn and drinking from it several times id say its my favorite out of all the horns i own, not much else to say, if u know what ur doing when it comes to curing and waxing this horn is for you, if your trying to buy a horn that u can drink from instantly it wouldnt be this one it requires some work but its great when ur done

It's thinner/more fragile than expected and the inside has chunks of something that kind of looks like dried vomit (not a smooth finish). Was a gift for a friend, but will be used for display only.

Ordered 6 of these for a wedding party. Half of the horns were unpolished and not sealed properly. Chipping on inside. Didn't have time to exchange them.

Bought this for my husband. It's very nice quality and he's so happy with it and feels that it looks quite authentic. Would recommend to any of our friends.

Let me start out by saying that it looks pretty cool, but that's where the fun ends. The description states that the inside is sealed to make it safe to drink out of. "Sealed," in this case, is a serious overstatement. Now, I understand that this is bone and a natural material, but the seal on the inside is ultra thin and barely sealed at all. There are bone splinters chipping off on the inside all over the place. You couldn't pay me to drink out of this thing. It's likely going to become just a bar decoration. Another issue I have with it is the base that is supposed to hold it. It is way too small and doesn't take the horn's center of gravity into account when the horn has liquid in it. It DOES NOT stand up in the holder with liquid in it. The seller really needs to rethink the design of the base. The horn does hold 12oz like the description says and it does look like the picture. If you're looking for a conversation piece for your bar, then this horn will do the trick but is overpriced as a decoration. If you want a functioning drinking horn I would look elsewhere.
