I wish I had this before I started with the HSK 1 guide itself. It is much easier going and offers some very handy tips for an English speaker to start getting their heads around the many quirks of the Chinese language. It is well and thoughtfully laid out and covers many basic but useful situations you will need a few words for.Very much a basic guide and you need to download the app and work alongside it to get the best out of the book.Recommended.

I just love this book and its companion book. It is lots of fun with the easy activities. Very useful words to learn. Plus’s it has free audio.
