What is the difference between the original and updated colors? They look the same in the photos.

You can try the two options as below to hang photos with our magnets. Option 1: Try to put the magnets on the side of the fridge to check if it’s magnetic. Sometimes the material of the fridge sides is magnetic. If ok, you can hang photos on the side of the fridge instead of the front side. Option 2: You can put a magnetic message board on the fridge with suction cups. Just be careful that it might leave some traces on the fridge surface if you take it off. Thank you.

No, they don't really stick together well. With the magnet-sides facing one another, they repel. And with one magnet-side facing a colored-side, the attraction isn't really strong enough to hold together well. So I don't think these will work for your plans... sorry. Otherwise, these magnets are really strong and great on a fridge!

I haven’t tried them on one. They did great on the metal door of our cabin on a cruise ship which is what I bought them for. My guess is they would be fine.
