It came out so nice. No one could believe it was a paint by numbers. My dad loved it so much he asked for it for Father’s Day. I forgot to take a pic before I gave it to him. I will try to add it later

Love the way it looks like an artist blended the paint to add contrast. Very nuanced, somewhat complex makes this a satisfying challenge.

This is hands down my favorite kit ive gotten. I love how it comes ready to go and there is a extra sheet with all the numbers too incase you accidentally covered a number and didn't know what was supposed to be there. Some paints were a little thicker than others but if you add a drop or two of water it makes it easier to use. For someone who has anxiety & depression this is a nice stress relief and project to complete. I am definitely buying more..

Great for distress

This had so many tiny slivers to paint. I would say this picture is definitely tricky to do. I also swapped to some miniature brushes I bought off Amazon to complete as the ones that came with it, while nice, were too thick for tight spaces. I also swapped colors on a few spots to make them pop a bit more. End of day, this one was hard, took a long time, but I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and love how it turned out.

Generally I really enjoy Opalberry, their quality and sense of attention to their clientele I can only praise.But .... in this instance there were two things I did have problems with.1. Offset numbers: not enough room to place a number without making it so small it is illegible, so offset it to a neighboring cell. A few times would be acceptable but in this painting it was more the rule than the exception which became quite annoying. Sometimes the offsets were 4 deep, "can't paint that because it has an offset in it, can't that offset because it has an offset in it ..." Again if it were a few I would say OK, necessary evel and all that. But there were hundreds, and hundreds and hundreds of offsets.Maybe there would be fewer offsets on a larger canvas but the 16X20 inch one I did was brutal.2. I had a lot of problems with the yellow paint. Even after 5 coats, making them as thick as possible I found the numbers were still plainly visible. Even when I let the paint dry out it hardly helped.Maybe

Good quality everything really makes a difference. Had one small crease (see pic) that I don't think will make any difference. There were two small errors in cells that were easy to identify and fix, i.e. in one case two cells adjacent to each had the same number.Beyond that, this was a joy to paint.

Just to advise others considering doing this painting. I found that a lot of the colors were way off from what was depicted on the sample picture. By that I mean, when I should have been painting with aqua-marine the pot color was olive green; what should have been a taupe shade was tan brown; and what was meant to be dark green actually painted as solid black. I realized at the beginning that some of the colors were off and compensated as best I could, but the more I got into it the more I realized how wrong the colors were. Not all were off, but when you combine it with the rest and what it takes to compensate, I would recommend that you look elsewhere for something else. I guess this is the gamble we take with these things, but thought someone might appreciate knowing of my experience with it.
