As a long-time scotch-drinker, I had read about whiskey-stones for some time, and eye-rolled.But I got these in advance of a scotch-drinking party we were hosting.I discovered that they cool the drink very little, but then, there's a rock in your scotch.I am a natural optimist, so I have kept them in the freezer now for a month, and will see if a month's freezing cools single-malt better than I remember.Alas. No. And there is a rock in my scotch.

Bought these for my brother in law’s birthday. They weee a big hit! Comes in a nice box that the stones can be stored in both the freezer or on the counter.

This is a great little kit! No more messing around with ice trays. No more gradual dilution of your cocktail as the ice melts. Just rinse off and put em on a towel after u finish your drink; toss another one or two in your glass and repeat! Absolutely recommend these!!

They don't make the drinks chilled at all

I liked that these, if they worked, would not water down the spirit. However, they don't really chill the spirit. And I am only talking about 1.5 oz pour. Used 4 stones in a rocks glass and all they did was take away the room temp feel but really not cool and definitely not cold. I will stick to the large round boulder of an ice ball.
