Easy to use once you get the right crimping tool. No instructions you will have to look at the pictures. The crimping tool has instructions.

My application is as replacement bulkhead connectors on 1986 302 Bronco XLT. Unit's click-lock/release mechanism is superior to that used by most domestic automotive manufacturers of this era; only one hand required to release the click lock- THANK YOU! This compensates for the relatively-lower strength of its crimped wire terminations (which you must do to use its waterproof feature) vs. that of OEM soldered connections. As pointed out in other Reviews, this does not come with instructions on how to assemble, so please expect that you will want/need to leverage the posted knowledge, others', and mine as follows:1 - Orange waterproofing sleeves associate with the female connector head, as does the yellow loop insert.2 - Yellow post insert associates with male connector.3 - Put yellow loop insert into female connector as far as it will go, then place orange sleeve around it, and finally insert male connector into female connector to seat the orange waterproofing sleeve (which is supposed to sit beneath the female connector's yellow plastic loop).4 - Then put the other yellow insert into the male connector head such that the male connector head's yellow points will face toward the female connector head.5 - Put red rubber sleeves onto each stripped wire, crimp silver connector around the space between the two flanges on each red sleeve, then crimp silver connector's midway shoulder to bare wire.6 - Insert each connectored wire into its appropriate position in the male/female heads.I would share photos, but after above doing this seller's work to the tune of U.S. $55/hour technical writer value, I submit that I've done my part.

Like other reviewers have stated, if you can’t figure these out without directions, you may want to take a step back from the project you’re working on. I bought these for a stand-alone LS harness build and they are very easy to understand and manipulate the pieces without directions. If you understand basic wiring and harness assembly, these connectors are a no brainer and of great quality. The weatherproof wasn’t a necessity for me as this plug will be in the cabin of the vehicle but it’s a nice safety net for someone else. The pins are easily workable and can be crimped with a standard wire cutter/crimper tool. Not specialty tools required. I would definitely buy these again for another harness project.

Yea I like these .. plenty lead to make connections ... both the male and female side snap tightly and waterproof ... I do recommend when using these to add a bit of dielectric grease before final install to assure no corrosion takes place internally.

Excellent connectors. You should probably have a generic pin crimper. You can do without one, but it keeps the process much cleaner.I personally used it to wire in an electric can controller. The 2nd connector allowed me to add a connector to my old fan controller, and keep it in my toolbox as a quick swap spare (for off-roading).I will be purchasing more as additional projects come up.

Very poor Quality Control. Missing parts so it makes the second plug usless. No instructions at all. The only good part is YouTube had a video of someone putting one together.Wouldnot and will not buy ever again. Was not worth the wait on the slow boat from China to get here that is for sure.

This was a fantastic product. I will be purchasing more soon. Great quality. Highly recommend.
