Awesome kit!
I am very excited to find this kit at a super price. I have been wanting this tool and lurking on pricing. When prices recently went up, I thought I was too late to the party! Luckily I found this tool at this lower price and jumped on it immediately! I would purchase again!

It's a quality tool for real work.
We should all know the deal. A Dremel is cheap. The Foredom is expensive. I've never bit the bullet to buy a Foredom because I rarely use a Dremel. The few times I do, I can get by with it. But not that I'm gunsmithing as a profession, I find that I'm using the Dremel more. And it sucks. Maybe it's time to upgrade to a Foredom I think. Well now the thing is in and installed and I've had to use it. Is it worth it. Seems like it. It has more torque so it doesn't bog down. Plus you can run it at relatively slow speeds and still get some work done. Could I do the same work with a Dremel? Maybe, but it would be frustrating. This thing is a tool that I will have a long time from now and still be happy with. Was it worth the money? I've never regretted buying a quality tool. I doubt this one will change my mind.

This is FAR superior in every way
If you need to work on small things and thought that a Dremel is the answer...forget it. This is FAR superior in every way. I have had various models of dremel or similar products over the years but this device is absolutely the best and great quality. The best feature is the ability to slowly rotate the tools that you use. This slow turning makes the work you do so much more accurate and the Foredom gives you very good control of the actual speed with the foot pedal. I still have a dremel that I use outside for odd jobs but try to bring everything I work on inside so that I can use the Foredom.

I had no idea this could be so much more convenient than a self contained rotary tool!
As a multiple Dremel rotary tool owner, two of them lithium battery powered, I was initially questioning myself as to how this could possibly be better - - boy was I right, or wrong, depending on which side of my discussion I was on. I love it!!!I'm using it mostly for gunsmithing work and it is so much more convenient than the Dremel. The foot pedal speed control is smooth an linear, adding a whole new dimension in tool control and flexibility. The hand piece, due to it's smaller handle diameter than a Dremel, is also more precise and easier to use accurately. I have the tool hanging a couple of feet from my vise, so it "right there" whenever needed. The Size 0 chuck comes with a handle mounted key that is quicker and easier to use than the typical collet on a regular rotary tool. Unfortunately. it will not accept a 1/4" shank (but then neither will that Dremel) and it would have been handy the other day.The lower top speed, 18,000 rpm as compared to almost double that for rotary tools of lesser torque and power, has proven to be no issue at all - think about it, how often do you ever need to ramp up a Dremel to full speed, for me that's almost never.

This is the one. Don't even waste your time or money with the Dremel-style tools
I bought this as a tool for work in my home machine shop, mostly for grinding and polishing small steam engine parts and the like.Every bit of this tool is pro-quality. I have never had the same control or power I get with this tool in the cheaper home rotary tools. This is definitely a case of "you can feel the pain once when you buy it or feel the pain every time you use it, your choice"

SIMPLE to use, a work horse, and easy to change the burrs.
I love it. I would have given it 5 stars but for the price. I got this to carve jade and others rocks, which it does a great job of but I realize now that I could easily have gone with a less expensive brand. I'm not crying though as I really do love it.

Great tool
This motor is excellent. Been using for over a year in a Gunsmithing shop. The accessories were all high quality, and made me throw away all the little tools my dremel kits came with. This motor works circles around foredom motors of days past. I fully expect a lifetime of use.

Authentic and excellent.
After buying a few Foredoms from other platforms that turned out to be fakes (and then go through the faff sending them back) I was very pleased to receive a legit Foredom at a great price off of Amazon. Strongly recommend!
